Dr. Vu was an amazing, knowledgeable, caring and a very professional doctor! He understood and respected my fears and accomodated my request. Made me feel at ease! Cute too ;)

DR MARK VU WAS AN EXCELLENT ANESTHESIOLOGIST! HE UNDERSTOOD AND ACCOMODATED MY FEARS AND GRANTED MY REQUEST TO HAVE AN EPIDURAL/SPINAL BLOCK AS I WASNT COMFORTABLE WITH GA. HE DELIVERED SUCCESSFULLY! NO PROBLEM AT ALL! FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE, KIND AND GOOD LOOKING! ;)

I was so lucky to have such an Anesthesiologist like Dr Vu!
He is very caring, knowledgeable and he listens to my fears and respected it. To make the long story short....

I was lucky enough to have Dr Mark Vu for two surgeries 6 weeks apart in Victoria. He was the first Dr I had that I felt listened and acknowledged my fears and concerns. I have always reacted badly to anesthetic in the past, Dr Vu was very caring and actually listened to what my needs and requests were. He kept me calm in the operating room by always talking or explaining what they were doing until it was time to go under. I came out in recovery without any complications or side affects. I would highly recommend Dr Vu and am very grateful he kept me feeling safe. Victoria is lucky to have him work out of both VGH and RJH.

Doctor Vu was my anesthesiologist in a recent surgery at U.B.C Hospital. I don't know what drugs he gave me, but for the first time in my life I did not experience nausea and vomiting after my surgery. He told me that he would look after me and he certainly did.
