Dr. Teal is an intelligent, amazing Neurologist. If it wasn’t for Dr. P. Teal, we would not have the Stroke Program in BC. BE GRATEFUL for his amazing talents and his care…..!

I have seen Dr. Teal many times for several reasons: migraines, seizures and nerve damage on a regular basis. He is nothing short of kind, patient and knowledgeable. He will put in time to answer your questions, fill out your forms, send you for referrals and whatever else you need. He has done so much for me and my family, in a time when many doctors are limiting their visit times. I’ll always be grateful to him for going to extra mile each and every time. One of the best specialists I’ve ever seen!

Dr. Philip Teal is an excellent Neurologist his knowledge is beyond what anyone could expect, I find him to be punctual at all times, he is also equally concerned as he is caring. You are in good hands with this Doctor Teal.

Really great experience! His staff are super helpful and I had no problem booking the appointment. Dr. Teal is patient and knowledgeable and even looked over my chart before I came in. He was a few minutes late but it sounds like he's a really busy guy. Overall 5/5 experience. Thank you!

He was 1 hour late, did not apologize, did not even look at me, or my MRI , did not care about any of my symptoms, terribly obnoxious, never answered my calls or emails, did not follow up. Certainly the worst neurologist in Vancouver. Don't bother, find someone else.

I had a phone consultation with Dr Teal after having episodes that presented as all the symptoms of a stroke at a young age, only 30. They are investigating as to if this could be migraines or TIAs. I was told to contact him with any changes in symptoms. I continued with the tests he ordered but had to go to the hospital for another episode. I still haven't been able to reach him a month later. I set up 2 phone appointments and wasnt called either time. I thought any stroke symptoms would be considered time sensitive. It must be his staff as he was pleasant to speak with.

I was referred to Dr. Teal for persistent headaches and post-surgical nerve pain and found him unhelpful and dismissive. He was running almost a whole hour late and when I asked him questions about medications that were very common for headaches, he had to look them up on his phone to answer them. When it came to asking him about the ongoing post-surgical nerve pain, he didn't even want to have a look at my scars and just said it's not his department, when clearly my family doctor referred me to him because of his knowledge around issues relating to the nervous system. I was told that because his main focus is stroke and dementia which makes sense that anything else just seems like not worth his time.
