Dr. Beaton did an xray ofy tooth and told me I had a small cavity. I had to go on antibiotics for 2 weeks the first time because it was infected. He filled the tooth and once again I had to go back. This time he actually checked the root of the tooth to tell me the tooth was bad. The root was bent and infected. So I was on antibiotics for a month..then finally went to the oral surgeon in guelph. I got the tooth extracted. 12 weeks go by the tooth beside it starts hurting. Thoughtaybe it was just ssore from having the tooth beside it pulled. Phoned the emergency dentist number. Aura dentistry put me on antibiotics once again. So I went and saw her after being on antibiotics for a couple days....that tooth was infected too. So now 2 teeth have been pulled. I am not impressed at ALL. IF DR.BEATON would've checked the root none of this would've happened.

Dr. Beaton is a very kind and knowledgeable dentist, hygienists are all good, and I have been patient for over 20 years, but he employs the most rude and uncaring receptionists I have ever experienced. I have thought many times to leave his care due to his rude receptionists. First Pat, then Amber, now Ashley. all very rude and uncaring with no patience. We've been his patient since day one of his practice taking over for Dr. Elliott Atkinson. He's an amazing and accommodating dentist. I wouldn't trade him in for another.
