Dr. Meyers has a superlative knowledge of internal medicine, a pleasant personality with perfect manners, and yet he is humble enough to “listen” to his patients.
After a lot of blood testing and a bone marrow biopsy to find a definitive diagnosis his team was not able to find the cause for my neutropenia.
I made a suggested of what I thought might be the cause of my neutropenia. To my delight he checked into my records to verify if this could be the case and agreed with me. How refreshing to find a doctor who knows it all but does not behave like he does. He simply listened in humility. Humility is a gracious gift to have in medicine and Dr. Meyers has that gift.

I saw Dr. Myers after having 2 heart attacks. I had been on a cocktail of meds for a year that were making me sicker than the cardiac issues and couldn't get anyone to help. My quality of life was non existent. I found him at Vic Gen and in no time he had me the meds I needed to be on and at the correct dosages. This man is knowledgeable, compassionate and a life saver, and one of the best Dr.'s I've ever met. He thinks outside of the box and treats his patients like people and not just cases.

My Mom received excellent care from Dr. Myers. I have a health care background and was impressed by his depth of knowledge and weighing of the pros and cons of treatment options given the individual patient's profile. His treatment of three different health issues has resulted in, firstly, survival and secondly a good quality of life for my 86 year old mother. Thank-you Dr. Myers!

Dr.Myers is absolutely AMAZING!
He is extremely caring and compassionate. He saw us within 24 hours of my brothers referral. When we went in he spent over an hour with us answering all our questions, never making us feel rushed or unimportant like most doctors we've seen. I've never experienced this from another specialist and I've seen ALOT. I would recommend him to anyone, I only wish their were more like him. Visited me in the hospital without introducing himself and without informing me about my diagnosis or medications. He was rude, abrupt, cold and uncaring. I was unaware of his specialty, he is in the wrong profession.

I am very grateful to have Dr. Myers taking care of me. In a city where so many doctors are retiring and leaving large numbers of people without a family doctor, I feel lucky to have this very kind and knowledgeable doctor. Many walkin clinics are unable or unwilling to deal with serious illnesses leaving patients feeling helpless and neglected. Dr. Myers can be credited with saving my life. From the time I arrived in the ER in critical condition until my discharge two weeks later, Dr. Myers took charge and did everything possible to improve my condition. After about 5 days of intensive therapy, things started to turn around and I survived. Thank you Dr. Myers!
