Dr. Lapin is like a breath of fresh air in our Quebec health care system. He takes the time to explain the patient's condition in terms that any lay-person can easily comprehend, furthermore, he goes out of his way to be helpful and actually does things for his patients that others in his position would simply offload on the patient to struggle with - Clearly a man that stands head and shoulders above others in the medical profession. Keep up the great work Doc - if by chance you read this :-)

I met Dr Henry Lapin in the Lasalle General Hospital (emergency) recently in an emergency, and I can honestly say that he is one the most brilliant and experienced cardiologists I've ever met. He is caring, attentive and listens to what you have to say. I will try to see if I can have him as my cardiologist, due to my dis-satisfaction with my current cardiologist.

Dr. Lapin saved my life. I suffered a massive pulmonary embolism and if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be here today. I have been followed by Dr. Lapin since 2011 and he is the best Dr of all the doctors I ever met.

Dr. Lapin is the most professional doctor I have ever come across in the Quebec health care system! I am extremely grateful to be treated by him. It is so important to be heard by medical professionals and from my experience this is a rarity today. Other doctors could learn from Dr. Lapin's manner of treating his patients. He is always punctual unless dealing with an emergency and he does NOT rush you out of his office. Any question I ask is answered thoroughly and explained in a way that helps me understand my situation. I am always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. I am from a small town in the US but moved to Montréal in 1994 so I was used to knowing my doctors well and receiving a phone call at home or work was not uncommon at all. I've not experienced that kind of care here in Quebec until recently when Dr. Lapin took the time out of his busy schedule to call me at the office and go through my file and test results and give his recommendations. I know that is not always possible but I can tell you that I could not be more appreciative of this act which will make a significant difference in the way I view the system here. There ARE good doctors still out there!

Very conciencious and caring and takes care to communicate with my family doctor if he recommends a change in my medication.Each time i had to pass an ecg with effort he always requested to be there.
