Terrible receptionist. Terrible doctor. My experience there for the first and last time was absolutely horrific. The doctor would not listen to my symptoms and wrote me scripts for 4 medications without even explaining what they were for! I had to call back and ask what was going on because he told me he was just putting me on 2 medications at the appointment. 4 medications at 21 years old that I "should be taking every day multiple times a day" when I just have a problem with anxiety. He gave me sleeping pills when I never had a problem sleeping.

It seemed like he wanted to give me all these pills and rushed me out of the room. I will be reporting this doctor tomorrow because I am not the only person he has done this to. He is a waste of time. I left there in tears. The receptionist doesn't even know how to take appointments. I called on a Friday and she said there was an opening on Monday...I'm thinking it was the Monday coming up. I show up and she tells me THAT SHE MEANT the 20th of March. I should've left right then and there.

I have never in my life been so upset and angry with a doctor. HE DOES NOT LISTEN TO THE PATIENT'S SYMPTOMS. Huge waste of my time and on the week of my birthday which I've told them...terrible doctor. You will never get another dime from me and people have the right to know what a terrible doctor you are.

He also WROTE A REVIEW ON HERE FOR HIMSELF. RATED HIMSELF 5 STARS. WHAT A JOKE.

After meeting with my 14 year old son for five minutes, he diagnosed him with having severe issues and wrote a prescription for a med for someone with bipolar or schizophrenia! OMG. Two weeks later my son is perfectly fine. All he needed was someone to talk with to help him out of a scary dream he was having. He told me to be quiet when my son was filling out a form, and kicked us out after ten minutes. I paid $240.00 for that!!

I have come across fantastic psychiatrists, Dr. Oh is utterly incompetent and should not have a license . This doctor requires you to see him every month, which consists of a less than 10 minute visit in which he spends that time entering information into his computer, and writing out a script while he sits their quietly. These visits are utterly useless and clearly required by him simply so that he can bill your insurance each month. On my last visit to Dr. Oh, he refused to give me more than a one month supply of an antidepressant that I've been stable on for 4 years and he had been prescribing to me for 6 months. When I asked him why, his explanation was that he had already sent it to the pharmacy on his computer and that he could do nothing about it. When I asked him if he could call the pharmacy to change the script (a very reasonable request), he told me 'I'm not going to do that' and that I was 'annoying him'. I have never had such little faith in a doctor before, as a psychiatrist he is nearly non responsive, and I am unsure as to whether he even listens and comprehends what his patients have to say about their symptoms (if they choose to tell him on their own accord, because he certainly isn't asking you.). Overall, he does not give his patients adequate psychiatric care.

other than having to wait about 20 minutes to see the doctor i had an excellent experience. after being on and off of antidepressants for over 5 years, dr oh was the first dr to prescribe the correct combination of medication. i finally feel "normal" after years of struggling with depression on a daily basis. i know i was lucky to get prescribed the correct combination of medication at my first visit with him. some medications work good for some and not for others. sometimes its just trial and error. i have been with him for a while now and he has continued to adjust my medication to help me live my life to the fullest. grateful patient!!

I had Dr. Oh when he had a practice in Toms River. He is a horrible doctor. He does not care about his patients. I was in his office for about 5 minutes, and he did not ask about my medical history. Actually, he wrote out a prescription before I could say anything. He placed me on an antidepressant; I had a negative reaction to it within about 2 weeks. I stopped taking it. When I saw him for the second visit; I told him I stopped taking the medication, and he wanted to write out another one. I had refused, and I told him I was not going to be seeing him ever again. He was the worst psychiatrist I ever had. He should really consider another profession because he has no clue on how to interact with people. The office staff was also rude and cold just like him.

He put me on Meds that should not have been combined. Changing my Hospital meds and then my Throat ended up closing up after swallowing a sip of water or coffee. I struggled on the ground waiting for my breath to regain. It always did. First Aid was called but I always regained breath before they showed up. Blurred vision. Got medical check ups and glasses. Changed meds, all better. I have been fine and he wanted to change my meds again. I refused and told him they made me paranoid and a zombie. Unless you have plenty of previous script knowledge on how they effect you, Keep searching!!
