First off Dr. Stewart is cute as a button. He makes eye contact when talking. He has a sense of humor which can be so welcoming in emerge. Dr. Stewart talks straight and takes the time to listen.
Oh did I mention how cute he was? Lol

My husband has been suffering for months now with esophageal issues. In the past 2 months, his symptoms have steadily gotten much worse. . He is waiting for an endoscopy to be done by a specialist in Sudbury but because of Covid, he hasn't been able to be scheduled. He can hardly eat anything and hardly sleeps since his symptoms affect his sleep. The other night his pain was severe and had been bad for 2 days already. He spent the night sitting in a lazyboy chair. By 6am, he decided he wanted to go to emerg, extreme for him. Because North Bay is now closer to where we live in a very rural area, he drove to the hospital there. 2 hours later he was headed home, very defeated. Dr Stewart brushed him off, basically saying, What are you doing here and telling him, he should've gone to Sudbury and that since another Dr will be investigating these symptoms, he couldn't (wouldn't) help him. Gave him something called Pink Lady, which did nothing and sent him home. I am disgusted!

I am a registered nurse who has worked with Dr. Stewart in the Emergency Room. He is respectful, intelligent, kind and thorough. I have never seen him being rude, condescending or anything less than professional. I would be honoured to work with him again, or have him as my primary physician. I have moved out of country and am now practicing in the state of Oklahoma.

Dr. Stewart always spends the time necessary for my quarterly diabetes checkups. Always up to date on the newest medications.

Super guy. Saw him today in emerg. Very bright, astute, down-to-earth and totally non-judgmental. I so appreciate that he spoke to me as his equal without any pretense. Very grateful for his fresh, modern approach and willingness to offer his expertise to our underserved area of the province.

well, it seems that patients in North Bay only come on this site to complain......so I thought I would add my comments since my experience was GREAT! Dr. Stewart was caring, thorough and discussed my very sensitive problem quietly and efficiently. I read the other comments on this site and cannot believe that we're rating the same doctor. He seemed to be the most hardworking doctor there.....we (North Bay) should be very happy to have him.
