Dr. Wiesner is an excellent doctor. He diagnosed my disease with compassion and understanding. His expertise is outstanding and has my problems under control. Patients are warned before their first appointment that there will be a wait for your appointment. The staff seems indifferent at times but have always been efficient and helpful.

I'm writing this review for my 81 year old mother who has been Dr. Weisner's patient for way too long. I agree with the last review that this office is the worst I've ever seen. Over a 2 hour wait every time and nobody seems concerned. Even when we made an early morning appointment, he was behind by hours!

After spending a day waiting in his office and going into see the doctor with my mother I know why. I think this 71 year old doctor just works for the social aspect of the job. He talks with his patients as if they are his best friends and gossips the entire time.

All of that would be OK if I thought he was on top of his game. I never had much confidence that he was doing every thing he could as he seemed to discount the growing number of problems my mother was having and looked only on the surface. Well, after more than 15 years with this doctor the hospital found that she has Sjogren's Syndrome which reads like a book of all her symptoms. The kicker is that this disease occurs in people with one or more known risk factors: age, sex (women), and rheumatic disease such as lupus. My mother was seeing Dr. Wiesner for her lupus! Shouldn't he have known of this??

Do yourself a favor and find another Rheumatologist. This bozo needs to retire.

Dr. Wiesner's expertise in the field of Rheumatology is invaluable. He is caring and compassionate. He keeps me alive and healthy. Dr. Wiesner saved my husband's life. Diagnosed with SLE in 2003, he continues to live a full life today, only with the help of Dr. Wiesner and his dedicated staff. I truly believe that Dr. Wiesner is God sent, so I constantly pray for his wellbeing & good health so he may continue caring for his patients. God bless you, Dr. Wiesner!

I was very impressed with the doctor but the office staff is the worst I have every dealt with. They do not take messages, they treaten to send to collections when they haven't billed insurance properly. They are horribly rude and unhelpful. If you need a good, caring doctor that's good. Just be prepared for a rude and unhelpful staff.

Dr. Wiesner had a strong advance reputation and I was anticipating seeing him. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The initial appointment was pretty straightforward although I would not describe his as caring. The second was, however, disastrous. When I entered the room, he said nothing at all but simply started putting up x-rays and commenting. He said I was among the worst he’d seen and that there was nothing he could do for me. So he would not be following me (despite the fact that he has long-term patients with the same condition). He delivered this news in such a cold clinical manner that I was shocked. Well, he did say one thing, namely, that I would just have to endure the pain. I left in dismay and it took several days to recover even somewhat from this experience.

I have had the blessing of having Dr. Wiesner as my rhuematologist since 1992. He has always been caring, gentle, and kind. He never makes you feel like you do not have a problem but helps you thorough it. I have a mystery disease that he has always looked for the answer to. I live in Oklahoma and travel back to Sacramento three times a year to keep my appointments with him. I cannot see me with another doctor with my fibromyalgia and unknown disorder. God bless Dr. Wiesner as he has blessed his patients.

I seen Dr. Weisner for the past twenty years, he is very nice and spends more than enought with each patient. He is always booked with patients, this tells you how well he is as a physican. He is worth the wait. He treats his patients like family and with respects.
