Not sure if this is the same doctor, if is though, my family after 27yrs (give or take) still says how amazing he was and how it was very upsetting moving forward without him. My story is too long to tell. Will say however, that the team at MacMaster that still works there (Dr. Arora & Dr. Belostotsky) was AMAZING as well. If this is the same Dr. Steele way back when I was 4yrs old, your kid is in good hands and will be if they need to move forward to the nephrologists at McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton Ontario.

In September 1996, Dr Steele saved my son's life when he was almost dying due to an infection after birth. Unfortunately, the infection seriously damaged his kidneys. Dr Steele was my son's nephrologist for several years until we move to other country. His care and treatment helped my son's kidney last longer without dialysis ( and 25 years later Martin got a transplant). God bless this Dr. He is a great and committed nephrologist. We also remember Annette, an excellent nurse working at Pediatric nephrology at McMaster hospital.

Dr. Steele saved my life when I was newly diagnosed with Lupus back when I was 13. He was so wonderful with my parents and myself. Annette his nurse was a wonderful compliment to his kind and compassionate care. I miss having him as my doctor.

My daughter has been in his care for 15 years best doctor we have ever seen. I would recommend him to anyone that has kidney issues. He saved our daughters life when she was three and has continued to care for her. We are sad that she is going for her last visit with him because she his 18 now.

What a genuinely kind and caring man. I would go back and see him anytime, even if my concerns were unrelated to his field of specialization. This man is the most wonderful, outstanding doctor I have ever seen, and I've been through very very many. Dr. Steele has virtually no ego, which makes him easy to converse with. I didn't feel rushed at all, yet his office was not overcrowded or overbooked. I am privileged to have gotten a chance to see this fabulous doctor. He is working through God.

What an amazing man. He spent a good deal of time with us... during his own personal time. I would trust Dr. Steele with my life, he is so very patient and caring. As a past patient with no current kidney issues, I would go back just to visit!! Thank you, Dr. Steele, for giving me the time of day that others never have. :)
