Dr, Sigesmund is an excellent opthamologist. I leave her office knowing I have received the best care.

Our 17 month old suddenly developed a lazy eye and after seeing two opthomologists we went to her as you really need a pro who can work with babies. Yes, the wait was over 2h which is maddening and truly unnecessary. She spent under 5 minutes total with us, prescribed glasses and is following up with virtual and in-person appointments. She strikes me as competent and practical at least for this relatively minor issue.

My 9 yr old had 2 eye surgeries this year with Dr Dayle Sigesmund and she has been amazing since the start. She was great with talking to him personally and making sure he was educated on his procedure. This doctor does her best to make sure everyone is seen and helped and is always working very hard for all the clients. Great doctor and corrected an almost full turned in lazy eye and made his life so much better. Highly recommend her and all her staff.

This was our first visit and it has been extremely positive. I was apprehensive after reading some of the reviews before coming in but I'm glad we came. Yes, we had to wait for about 1.5hrs but we were told about this before coming in, so we can prepared and it wasn't unexpected. Dr Sigesmund was friendly, very thorough, responsive to my questions, and proactive in giving us information while performing her tests with my daughter during the session. We were not rushed by any means. Dr Sigesmund moves fast, writes fast and communicates precisely and concisely, which may be why some may get the impression that they are rushed. I am very grateful for the session and feel relieved after seeing Dr Sigesmund. My advice is to come prepared so you can ask the right questions and to be able to understand the advice and information given by the doctor. I truly believe that the wait is a function of Dr Sigesmund trying to help as many patients as possible and her trying to do so thoroughly. This is exactly what I have experienced today and I feel that she is an excellent doctor. Btw, all her assistants that we dealt with today and the two staff that called us for the appointment and appointment reminders were all polite, friendly and efficient. It may be our luck but I believe it is indicative somewhat of the general quality when we have experienced the same on three occasions (in person and two calls).

I was referred to Dr. Sigesmund by my Opthamologist for an opinion prior to cataract surgery. I saw her in April 2023 and then had another appointment with her tech in June 2023 for further testing. Despite calling the office a few times, I never heard back for follow up. I went to my regular opthamologist in September 2023 and there was no report in file from the Dr. S. I proceeded to call Dr. Sigesmund's office for follow up and was told numerous times the report has been faxed. I called and nothing was received at my opthamologist. Finally one of the Dr. Sigesmund's secretaries called and said that there was no such report and that the doctor was still needing to consult with her tech on the next step. The fact that its taking her this long to consult with her tech is somewhat understandable due to how busy her practice is, but why someone from her office continually kept telling me the report had been faxed to my own doctor is beyond me. They even kept asking me to confirm the fax number and that it's now just been sent (!) There wasn't even a report to send. So I've left one final message and even told them I'm happy to go elsewhere for this professional opinion if this beyond their capacity. This office needs an organizational overhaul.

I am extremely grateful for Dr. Sigesmund. She took me on as a patient when many doctors told me that there is very little that could be done to correct an extreme eye condition I suffered as a result of Graves Disease. To be an adult and have your eye sight compromised to such an extreme state in a matter of a few short years is devastating; physically, mentally, and emotionally. Dr.Sigesmund and her staff got that. Dr.Sigesmund's professionalism and determination went beyond the eye issues; her kindness, energy, and awesome surgical talent kept me hopeful. She did not let me down! It has been a year since my first surgery. Under her care I have regained eye mobility, clearer vision and an asymmetrical look that I honestly thought was not acheivable again. After reading a few previous reviews I say this...... if you want quality care , waiting times should not matter, and if you want respect, show respect.

So thankful for Dr.Sigesmund and her team! Don’t know where I’d be without them. The front staff are super friendly and helpful. They are SUPER busy - expect long waits. I once waited 4 hours as she is always jam packed and has emergency appointments. Dr. Sigesmund is the first doctor after so many years of searching who has actually been able to help me with my lazy eye which I thankfully no longer have due to the surgery she performed. She is super knowledgeable, meticulous, and amazing at what she does.

Dr. Sigesmund was excellent! She was very professional and friendly. Even though it was obvious that she was extremely busy, she took the time to thoroughly explain her thinking and answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this specialist!
