Well I am not happy with this Dr. Silverberg. My husband was in Unit 8, the stroke unit of the hospital and had seen Silverberg in the past and refused to see him again. They obviously had a disagreement at the Polyclinic and Silverberg even tried jumping out the window at one time. Silverberg showed up at the hospital regardless even though my husband refused to see him and while I waited in the room (big mistake) he took my husband for a walk and in front of the nurses; Silverberg was in behind my husband and told him to run, run very loud tone and rude. When my husband refused to run Silverberg gave him a push then in front of the nurses. They turned their heads away and pretended nothing ever happened. This is a Dr? No!! More like a sick quack that should be sent in to have his head examined. When someone is in the stroke unit there is a reason for this and this Silverberg really overstepped his boundaries of being a Dr? And the nurses they cannot step in and help a patient in their Unit in the Hospital? Are they afraid of him? I can't figure this one out and hope he never ever sees my husband again because I will make sure that I have everything recorded. I cannot and refuse to rate this Dr as 0 is my rate for someone so rude and callous and incompetent and obviously suicidal and he needs help.

Dr. Silverberg saved my Mom's life 9 years ago at the QEH after everyone gave up ... he said let me try one more thing. He saved her! She's still here. I found him to be amazingly personable and professional. She's 82 now.

I went to Dr silverberg a few days ago. When I was assigned to him, I read the reviews on here and I was nervous about seeing him. I was going to go to my doctor and ask to be placed with someone else. I figured no, I would go once and then make my decision. I went on Wednesday. He was early, which impressed me. I found him very soft spoken and a permanent smile on his face. Yes, he did ask a lot ot personal questions that had nothing to do with my issue , but i took it as getting to know his patient a little better and to put me at ease. I never found him to ever step over the line. He listened to every word I said. He educated me on things, not just tell me scientific terms, then drop it. To be honest, my issue stumped him. Were going to monitor it if need be and follow up. I had a positive experience and from my own experience, I would recommend Dr silverberg.

I was not feeling very good about seeing this neurologist after reading some of these comments, however, I found him to be great. Very kind and very caring. I an not sure why other people write bad comments about him as I think he real;y pays attention and listens to what you say.

Dr. Silverberg in my opinion is either on drugs or suffering from some sort of mental illness. I was referred to him because my legs go numb and tingly. he asked me when this occurs and I gave him an example of like when I do the dishes or stand in a line up. He couldn't believe that I didn't have a dishwasher and went on and on about how cheap they are and how easy they are to work. I didn't know if I was at MacArthurs Appliances or what. Very Very disappointed and would NOT recommend him to anyone. He's Fried

We have found Dr. David Silverberg to be a kind and caring doctor. He always listens intently, and never makes you feel like you are being rushed, or that you are just another statistic. We appreciate that he tries a more natural approach first, but always has your best interests in mind if having to prescribe a drug. Am very grateful for this man. Both my daughter and husband are patients, and my daughter especially likes him, as she feels he truly cares about her.

Seems as usual it is only people with bad things to say that get on these sites. We had to wait a while to see this doctor but he took his time explaining things and was right on with his diagnosis

This past Fall, my father was admitted to QE with a diagnosis which gave us little hope that he would leave the hospital. We had wonderful care from many physicians and nurses, clergy; however, Dr. Silverberg was the one physician who stood out among the crowd. We can not express how much we appreciated his kindness, gentleness and understanding 1st as incredible bedside manner but also on his accurate diagnosis with immediate action and treatment which moved my father from critical to now enjoying being back home with his family to almost perfect health. Dr. Silverberg gave us hope, kindness and shared with us everything that he could about what my father was going thru. PEI is very fortunate to have such a stellar physician. We will be forever grateful for the 1st class care we received from Dr. Silverberg. We are almost 2 months after the 1 month my Dad spent in hospital, and Dr. Silverberg made a personal home phone call to follow up and ask how we all doing as a family...out of province, as my Dad's care took us to NS. Happily we are doing just wonderful...thanks to folks like Dr. Silverberg. We are infinitely grateful! L'fum tzara agra, according to the effort is the reward...Ben Hei Ethics of the Fathers 5:26 L'Chaim! much love.
