I called in advance asking if they can order IUDs (many dr's told me no, you have to order it and they'll insert). The front office told me yes they absolutely do (specifically ParaGard, the one I wanted). I was skeptical so called again to confirm. They confirmed that it wouldn't be an issue. I showed up to my appt on time and waited an hour to be seen. The nurse told me she had an interview set up the following week because the doctor is very "strict" (read: scary). The front office girl was a no-show. The doctor came in and the first thing she said to me is "Why are you here for an IUD?" She said I had been scheduled for the wrong thing, and I can't imagine how that's even possible - I was super clear. She then lectured me about insurance issues like insurance not reimbursing doctors for IUDs was my personal fault. Then she got into various types of birth control, telling me if I had DepoProvera I could be depressed, etc etc. I was never interested in the other 10 types of birth control she made me sit and listen to all the details about. She left the room and came back saying they couldn't order the IUD and gave me the number for ParaGard. Talk about a waste of life. Mistakes and miscommunication happen, but I went out of my way to be clear, and despite the mistake clearly being on her end, she was condescending and rude and implied that the whole thing was my fault. Probably my worst dr experience ever, the office staff and dr were all unbelievably unprofessional.

I saw about seven gynecologists and noone could find out what's causing my problem and, therefore, noone could prescribe me a medication. They all just sent me to the lab only to find nothing. Only Dr. Jensen who determined what was wrong and prescribed the medication I needed without sending me to the lab.

I visit this office bi-weekly. I always get an appointment with the person I ask for. The RNP is wonderful (I usually see her). Every third visit of so, I see my doctor and always get her when I ask for her. My only complaint is that I usually have to wait 30-50 minutes for an appointment that only takes 5 minutes (10 if I see the doctor).

I agree with the other comments. A frustrating experience.

I ask for the doctor, but always got their nurse that doesn't know and just send you on to get [unessecary] tests.

There's no ownership of the patient. When you call for an appointment for a specific doctor, they make you an appointment for any doctor in the clinic. The end result is that everyone has seen you but who among them really cares about you when you are also seen by other doctors? There's no ownership or responsibility. No doctor in particular is responsible for the patient. I can't say about their expertise as it seems that I start all over again everytime I meet a new doctor in the same clinic.
