I might have a serious disease, but she doesn’t think this is serious. My symptom can get worse, but I never got any treatment. She sent a referral to a specialist, and it will take a few months. I need treatment now. Either she needs to find what I have or she should tell specialist this is urgent. So frustrating

Worse Dr in Burns Lake. Wherever she came from, send her back. She has no care in world for anyone. Useless. She hates natives. Dr Witch

Absolutely do not trust this woman's diagnosis. Always seek a second opinion. If she is your GP, I strongly recommend trying to find another one as soon as you can. There were many, many times when she would diagnose me simply because of my medical history without actually looking at the issue itself. I cannot count the number of times she misdiagnosed me (and she has never been willing to refer me to any specialist unless I demanded it). One of those times would have very likely been fatal if I had trusted her diagnosis. I had long dropped her as my GP but had to go to emergency because of severe breathing problems (I couldn't go up a handful of stairs without needing to stop and catch my breath). I have asthma that is weather-induced, which I tried to make very clear when I was asked if I'm asthmatic. I tried to make it clear that this was not an asthma attack, especially since the weather was very nice out, but it was ignored. I had to INSIST on a chest x-ray, as Dr. Williams was happy to usher me out the door with an inhaler refill and the suggestion that I had caught some sort of bronchial bug. The chest x-ray came back clear, but I know not to trust her diagnosis. I waited for a day where she was not working emergency so I could get a different doctor. THIS doctor actually wanted to rule out anything severe, and ran a blood test to check for a blood clot. It came back positive and I was sent to Smithers to get a CT-Scan. I did, in fact, have a pulmonary embolism. If I had trusted Dr. Williams' diagnosis, which was given after she did the absolute bare minimum (she will never do more than the bare minimum), it would have killed me. Frankly, the fact this woman still has a medical license is shocking to me.

It's also been my experience that she is grossly unprofessional and you essentially need to 'play' her to get her to actually put some amount of effort into taking care of your issue (e.g. badmouthing other doctors, playing into her ego, etc.).

(Also, she works out of Burns Lake hospital, and the staff there are generally lovely, but I didn't want that to help boost her star rating.)

I found Dr. Williams to be very knowledgeable and took an interest in my health better than I have received from other Dr's I've had before. I'm sad to see she moved.

this doctor argued with me. I'm 70 yr. old. I know what a urinary tract infection is. She insisted it was a yeast infection. Finally she gave me a bottle for some urine testing. guess what! it was a urinary infection... I had another health matter for her to discuss she said o.k. then all of a sudden she jumps up and said she had 30 patients to see that day yet the waiting room was empty when I left? Never gave eye contact, never acknowledged my husband when I mentioned my husbands name to her. She gave me my antibiotic prescription, plus another which was not written up correctly and pharmacist corrected it. I read bad reviews when she was in Campbell river, now she's in Burns Lake Hospital medical clinic. Such a RUDE, AWFUL DOCTOR.

Was Good at first, she explained things well, just became miserable over time, cut me off, says she’s busy doing other dr job, basically made me feel like s**t today. She’s not happy here so she should go back to Campbell River

I for one, am very sorry to hear that she is no longer working here - she was an excellent Dr. for the several years I was a patient, travelling from Campbell River in order to see her - she referred me to THE very best neurosurgeon for my back operation, and always answered my questions. I shall miss her kind and genuine concern and attention to her patients.

As much a I like'd the sounds of a female doctor, her availability is horrible. When I did need her, she was out of office, and now I found out (after I called them to make an appointment) shes not even a doctor there anymore!
She rushes you out the door as soon and she can, and is very quick to throw pills at you as a solution. Not a doctor i'm sad to see go.
