Been seeing Dr wolk for many years. My file is about 4 inches thick last time I saw it. Actually split into two. I started at every 3 months with multiple biopsies each time for several years. I am down to once every 6 months and a biopsy every other time. Found lots of no problems, but a few that needed surgery. Very happy with the care.

Dr.Wolk is without doubt the best dermatologist in the state. He diagnosed and cured my daughter's skin eruption. Thank you Dr. Wolk.

I see Dr. Wolk every six months for a regular checkup. He has a canned-routine speech, which (after hearing the exact same sentences after three years) makes me feel like I am talking to a robot, not a human being. I don't like that he sells sun-block (presumbly at an inflated price) at his check-out counter. I have not had anything done except removal of pre-canerous lesions by CO2, so cannot comment on anything more than this.

I had a mole that returned after being removed several years earlier. I went to Dr. Wolk to show it to him. He barely glanced at it. I told him that I was concerned that it came back and was worried that he was not taking me seriously. "Did they biopsy it?" he asked. "Yes," I said. "What were the results?" he asked. "It was fine--no problems," I told him. "Well, there you go. By the way, you need Botox. You look miserable. Talk to my staff on the way out and they will tell you about it."

New to the area and a melanoma patient I went to Dr. Wolk (director of Skin & Cancer Center). I had to beg him to do a biopsy which he assured me was not cancer. Was more interested in doing cosmetic surgery. Biopsy showed site as precancerous.
