This office typically is unavailable for phone calls from 1pm to 2pm daily. Waiting time to see the Dr. often exceeds 25 minutes. My first visit Dr. Zalewski seemed rather unfriendly. My second visit I requested a different doctor who eventually referred me back to Dr. Zalewski. I am over 50 and have visited the Dr. 2x for high BP. Most recently I had to wait 7 weeks for an appointment, then had to wait over 25 minutes to see the Dr. I left the office without seeing him and am seeking a new physician.

Dr Zalewski is very dry. Very caring doctor and will take the time to explain any questions you may have. Very nice and can speak to a nurse to see if they can answer your questons before you make an appointment.

This is not a doctor I would recommend. Waiting time was long, he never smiled and showed no compassion and he acted irritated rather than consoling when being called upon. He made it seem like a chore to answer questions and did not explain anything unless asked. Office staff had wrong medication for my mother in their computer program and had poor follow-up policies in place. Blood tests were not appropriately monitored resulting in critical coumadin causing critical values when tested. When questioned in the office, he was unable to tell us what medications my mother on and relied on us to tell him. I called him one weekend because my mother was distressed and he let me know my concern did not warrant a call on the weekend and told me to make an appointment. I ended up taking my mother to the ER. She passed away that same week.(Hospital staff did notify this dr she was in the hospital but he never followed up on her. Three months later he stated "oh, I didn't know she passed away".)
