Had to report on my excellent experience with Dr. Paidra. Have to admit my expectations were low going into the ER with my little guy who had a high fever, but the experience was pretty great. He clearly cared about what he was doing and my boy was looked after well. Thanks.

Best emergency room doctor at Lakeridge Health Oshawa

I was referred to emergency by my family doctor. Dr. Paida assessed my condition (swelling around knee persisting for a month) methodically. Very knowledgeable, courteous and attentive. He asked if I ever had gout and that simple question was a revelation as I had gout on my toes on several occasions. He performed a quick procedure to extract some fluid and sent for analysis. The lab results were still outstanding after a 2.5 hour wait but he met me in that period to provide a status - apparently Monday's are very busy in ER and the lab. After hour 3 of the wait I told him I am leaving and to send results to my family doctor. He provided me the ER extension and told me to call him the next morning for the results ... what ER doctor does that? He also took my cell # and said that he checks status from home sometimes and that he may call me later that evening. What ER doctor does that? After about a half an hour at home I received a call from DR. Paidra and he provided me the lab results ... I was extremely pleased with the result but flabbergasted that he called me at home. What 'any' kind of doctor does that? For all those who had anything negative to say about Dr. Paidra likely had circumstances beyond his control but they needed to blame someone. I also believe these are the same kind of people that have something negative to say on Trip Advisor wherever they visit.

Dr Paidra knows what he is doing, very knowledgeable and kind, also very thorough, a good doctor especially for the ER. Made our ER visit much easier

Was in emergency yesterday at Lakeridge Health. Dr. Paidra was one of a kind. I have never had an emerg doctors who demonstrated the care and patience required to explain my issue. We need more doctors like this that have his kind of bedside manner.
