Dr. Wood has been my GP for over 30 years and over that time it’s almost like his desire to provide quality medical care has diminished each year. I am essentially at the point where I am about to file a formal complaint with the College of Physicians due to his complete lack of competency and care. If things don’t improve drastically, I’m pretty sure he’s months away from a malpractice issue.

Dr. Wood's office refused to see me for a serious hernia issue. I haven't been to see Dr. Wood (or any other doctor) since 2010, because I haven't needed a doctor. Now when I do need one, they are not there to help me. So make sure you go to the doctor every time you have a cold or flu, or you scrape your knee, so that they will treat you when you actually need them. I guess billable services is more important than helping people. I believe our medical system is over-strained because too many people go to the doctor for all kinds of unnecessary reasons. I hope I can find another doctor that is actually accepting patients. For those of you who don't know, a hernia can quickly degrade into a life threatening situation.
P.S... Some other reviewers seem to be quite impressed that Dr. Wood takes their blood pressure every time...
P.S.S....The 2 times I did see him in the past he was late for the appointment by about an hour.

Dr Stuart Wood has been my doctor for about 36 years he is best doctor i have ever known. he always takes my blood pressure i hope he is not retiring soon. he answers all my questions and is always pleasant.

Dr Wood is the absolute best. He’s always on time, always checks your blood pressure even if you’ve come only for a prescription renewal. Takes the time to talk to you and is always pleasant. His patient records are up to date for you and he answers all questions you have with intelligent answers , well explained. Everyone loves him.

Dr. Wood has been my doctor for over 24 yrs he is the best doctor I know, cares about his patients and always answers my concerns. One day when I hear he is retiring will be a sad day.

He was terrible I suffered from mental illness and anxiety he did absolutely nothing when u ask if there could be something prescribed to me didn’t but yet when I had an appointment with him he never showed up another doctor showed up I explained he actually gave me something to help which it has. Another time I book and an appointment before July they called saying he’s going on vacation and to reschedule till he gets back we do when my father goes to meet me there for an appointment the lady’s at the desk told him I wasn’t allowed back in an said to my father he was aware I’ll be gladly seeing him in court for this

Dr. Wood has been my family doctor for over 25 years. He is always punctual and thorough. Somehow, he finds time to answer questions yet stay on time. He is the only Doctor I've ever visited who has actually apologized when running a mere 15 minute late. I highly recommend him.
