Doctor Whitshire is an adequate doctor but the lady at the front desk was very rude, especially over the phone.

Very pleasant, friendly. Listens to your concerns and addresses them accordingly. Seems to be very knowledgeable and I've always managed to get the care I needed. Front desk isn't friendly at all, very curt and grumpy. Sometimes when you have an appointment you will wait well past your appointment time before being seen.

Dr. Wiltshire is a very caring, intelligent, and kind person. He takes the time to listen to your issues, and does not hesitate to refer to a specialist if needed. He is very knowledgable in areas of diabetes in particular.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wiltshire since he came to his present practice.
I have always found him to be efficient and professional. He runs an extremely efficient office, and is always polite and concerned about my wellbeing. Dr. Wiltshire's record keeping is impeccable, takes copious notes, and refers to them on subsequent visits.
I hope he never leave Kamloops!

First of all, you have to wait 10 mins in the waiting room then another 20 or so in his office before you actually see him. Also he literally doesn't give a hoot about his patients. And he also just either looks at his watch or his computer the whole appointment and barely talks to you. He also doesn't really ask any questions. He also has peepee statues all over the office which is bad for kids going there. I always hate seeing him he sucks.

We have known this doctor for 5 years. He is incredibly thorough, includes family members in care planning of aging parents, makes solid clinical decisions, listens to requests and has always been respectful. He is a busy person with a huge workload caring for numerous patients. He is a HUGE asset to the community. People who are active in their care and decision making are heard and if he comes across abrupt at times, it’s likely because he has a thought he’s expressing and is nothing personal. I am so lucky my parents have him on their side. Thank you Dr Jon!

Disrespectful. Belittles family members and makes patients feel stupid when they feel overwhelmed and unable to express themself instead of showing respect and protecting the dignity of clients and their support people. Shameful. .

Listens to concerns and doesn't hesitate to investigate. Calls for follow up re results. Staff is friendly and efficient.. Easy to get appointment in timely fashion.
