Probably the worst human being ever! I hope this guy has been thoroughly investigated. Should not be a doctor, should not even be around other people. A real dangerous sociopath!!

This doctor if thats what you can call him, is a complete moron. He has to be the rudest person i have ever met. I took my daughter in to a guelph clinic for her tb tests required for her first yr nursing, we both left shaking and in complete amazement at what an asshat he was. Disgusting to think this is what represents Ontario doctors. This nut job needs to either gain some social skills or quit the field all together.

I went to the walk in clinic in Guelph today (holiday so everything else is closed) and was pleasantly surprised that it was not busy at all. Once I met the Dr I totally understood why. I have a throat infection and he took a quick look (didn't even do a swab) and didn't even tell me what was wrong. He asked about allergies to mess and when I gave him the list he had no clue what to give me. He proceeded to ask me what mess I have taken in the past and when I didn't have a list ready he just said "well this might work". Will be calling my family GP in the morning from for a reevaluation.

i went for my follow up appointment in London clinic and as usual i wasn't looking forward to to see Dr Book.As he considers himself ONE problem doctor basically one reason per visit. When i visited in May for UTI reason and i thought i could ask him to look at my Toe which was hurting and he freaked out and walked away i waited in the room expecting he would return and about 10 min later the nurse came in with the copy of their printed policy that when they are busy they only attend to ONE problem. I could have understood that but it was the Month of May the waiting area had 2 patients only!!! anyways i was there yesterday and this is what i heard from the clinic manager ANGELA the staff celebrated as this Dr was fired from the clinic. WHAT A SHAME!!

First of all, the clinic was empty when I walked in and the Dr(I didnt know it was him) was sitting on the desk in reception talking inappropriately to the tween-girls working behind the desk.Dr.Book was extremely rude and so were the people working in the clinic today. His "nurse" or whomever she was did not know how to take a tympanic temperature...kind of important when the patient suspects a urinary tract infection. When I pointed out that I was a nurse and she didn't have the thermometer in my ear, she and Dr.Book began to talk rudely and loudly about me!There was no appology from either of them when they saw me standing there watching and listening!Dr.Book was condescending throughout the appt and when I was leaving the clinic he began AGAIN talking to me about my reason for my visit and complications to my bladder from my "vaginal delivery" in front of the other staff in the waiting room in a clinic in WALMART!He needs to retire and also dress in clothing that fits him!

Dr book needs to find a new clinic to work at before he gives his college a bad name. He actually thought he could tear a strip out of me for my 2 yr old being to loud in the clinic. He actually thought i would allow him to come into the room and raise his voice to me in a threatening manner. I would never recommend this doc to anyone EVER. I left without my child being seen.. I will return to the clinic because his college is kind and respectful and a wonderful doctor.

First of all, I walked in and there was nobody in the waiting room. The receptionist was on a personal call for approx. 10 min before I was acknowledged. After she hung up the phone, she took me into the office straight away. THEN the Dr. Book comes in. Let me just say, that this man should not be dealing with the general public as a physician. I am a nurse (he did not know this), and I was appalled at his arrogance and grumpiness. He made me feel inferior and stupid. I couldn't wait to get out of there in fear of telling him what I thought. He is such a horrible person and obviously doesn't care about his job anymore. One of the reasons I left my prior career because I wasn't happy, but I had enough sense to leave before it was apparent to others. Dr. Book, it may be time to hang up that stethoscope..please

This doctor is a condescending ass. He was beyond rude. I had cancer related questions having just lost a close family member and he could not have been less helpful if he tried. He quickly wrote me a prescription for a medication that treats a symptom I am not experiencing nor mentioned to him. Furthermore, he didn't explain how it is to be used. I had to go to another, nicer and more understanding, Doctor to for that information. We then quickly realized this was an unnecessary prescription. It would serve Dr. Book well to remember that he is a Doctor at a public clinic and his job is to help people, not belittle them. He is not the second coming of Christ. I feel sorry for anyone who has to rely on this man for help as it won't be forthcoming.

I accompanied a friend whose English is somewhat weak to the Urgent Care Clinic to get the results of a routine Hepatitis B test, required for admission into a college course. From the time his Lordship entered the office, his tone was impatient, and gave the distinct impression that he thought we were wasting his precious time with our presence. While I have had FAR superior service from other members of this clinic's staff, this is also, unfortunately, not the first time I have encountered insufferable rudeness at the hands of a "physician" in one of these local walk-in clinics. Dr. Book and his kind seem to think that they have a right be rude and dismissive towards patients. Quite the opposite, Doctor, YOU have your job because the people of Ontario, through the Ministry of Health and with the supervision of the College of Physicians ALLOW you to practice.Your Hippocratic oath REQUIRES you to be of SERVICE, in your words, actions your attitude,to the people who pay your salary.
