Dr. Roybal did my surgery in August of 2014 and everything with him and his office has been great. Due to WORKERS COMP's not allowing me to be followed up by him as I should have been, I am not as pleased with my outcome as I would like but am finally back seeing him again and he is battling workers comp to get me what I need. Thanks doc, DKJ

I am a 85 year old, in pain, for the last 7 months. I have seen several other doctors and have had a bunch of shots that didn't help. Word of mouth finally helped me find Dr. Roybal who actually took the time to explain to me what was going on with my back, something no one else has done after all this time. I got more information from Dr Roybal in one visit than I had during the last 7 months! Sure, I waited awhile to see him, but Dr. Roybal took the time to listen to me, and answer my questions, which tells me that he actually cares.

After lumbar surgery by Dr. Roybal I have been living a complete pain ridden nightmare...during first three months nerve pain increased steadily.. asked to be referred to a Neurosurgeon and was refused. Was sent to pain management instead..It has now been a year on pain management that has not worked well.... and Dr. Roybal who has not seen me since pain management took over has told my employer I am okay to be taken off light duty and put back to working my regular job without restrictions. AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE AND FIND A NEUROSURGEON TO DO YOUR SURGERY.

Made a first appointment. The guy didn't even show up. He sent his PA. For a first appointment! Now I must say, his PA was excellent, Alyssa is a talented PA and should probably be the doctor there. But if you don't show up to work, you get an F in my book.

Dr Roybal took so much time explaining things to me. Great bedside manner! His PA was very thorough and knowledgeable as well. I have always had a great experience at my appointments. Highly recommend Dr Roybal to any friends and family!

First off, I would like to compliment dr Roybal's staff. His assistant always returns my calls promptly and listens with compassion to every question. At times, dr Roybal may run behind. Other times, he right on schedule. Either way, he always takes the time necessary to encourage me and address any issues. Both he and his assistant are excellent providers. They give me a list of diagnosis and treatment options and explain every one. I have suffered with back pain for 20 yrs, and only now do I understand the causes and the reasons for treatment. Dr Roybal has explained why I don't need surgery, but if I did I would trust him with my spine!

Dr. Roybal made a clinical decision, concerning my workman's comp claim, contrary to his own PA write up and before he ever examined me. I have had one office visit out of 3 where I saw him and he never directly examined, but only discussed options based solely on clinical data. When I asked about seeing my Neurologist for a second opinion he was dismissive of any advice I might receive from a Dr. in that specialty. I find it difficult to trust this Doctor.

Dr. Roybal is a great doctor. Very sympathetic and efficient. Disagree with seeing the PA again. She talks over you and down to you. Pleased with everything else about the doctor and the office.

I had already had an MRI and was going to a pain management clinic ( the DR. there referred my to DR. Royball) he had me gat a CT Scan of my nack and I went back to him and he said how glad he was I did have the CT Scan because it showed him exactly what he suspected.I am scheduled for surgery on my neck May 1. he spends a lot of time with you so you understand what is going on with you. I really like Dr. Roybal, the nurse that was there the last time not so much, she was kind of rude and acted like I was bothering her or she did not want to be there. I would highly recommend Dr. Roybal.
