Biography
Dr. Natalie Archer opened her first dental clinic in Toronto in 2007 at Bloor and Sherbourne. Today the Archer Dental brand is trusted by thousands of local residents at three locations across the downtown core. Natalie envisioned and then created a dentistry business dedicated to improving the clinical experience for patients through technology, accessibility, and décor; Archer Dental clinics are comfortable places with skilled staff, flat screen televisions and immersive music. Her dentists are renowned for their can-do attitudes that are rooted in compassion, innovation and reliability. Health Council of Canada has recognized Archer Dental as one of Canada's most innovative dental practices. Before opening her first location in Toronto, Dr. Archer practiced mobile Geriatric Dentistry throughout Ontario in over 135 Long-Term Care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and independent residences. This experience amplified her natural passion for promoting dental care for seniors. Her research and ground-breaking work co-creating D.E.A.R (Dental Elder Abuse Response) program in 2014 earned her a Federal Grant towards dental awareness and prevention of dental elder abuse. Dr. Archer received the Award of Merit from the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) in 2014 and Opencare's Patients' Choice Award in 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 & 2014. Among other outstanding awards, she was also awarded Best Dentist in Toronto by NOW Magazine in 2013 and again in 2016. She also won the Gold Award for Best Dentist by the Bloor West Villager Readers’ Choice Awards in 2012. A rising celebrity dentist, she has consulted politicians and been featured on the Toronto Zoomer Show, Roger's Television, Reader's Digest, and on the CBC daytime TV series "The Goods" where she discussed bad breath, and on Global TV News where she outlined infection control procedures at Ontario dental clinics.

After reading loads of positive reviews/ best rated on now magazine I went to see Dr Archer. I ended up leaving after a very painful cleaning appointment that I left on the verge of tears and several pushy appointments insisting on expensive orthodontics even though its not anything I've ever wanted or needed.
