I realize that many people like Dr. Francis, but I can't stand him.... but let's start with the office itself. The office staff is rude and disorganized, and your appointment will take HOURS while they shuttle you back and forth between the waiting room and the other rooms. They deal with a lot of low income patients, many of them also not very educated.. so they treat their patients like idiots. I went in for a regular pap exam and a polyp. Despite asking 3 times, and 2 visits, they never did the PAP. On the day of surgery for the polyp, I saw and heard Dr. Francis come in and greet the patient in the next room. He never spoke to me ONCE, nor my husband who was waiting. When I woke up, I had to ask the surgical center how it went - they could tell me. They never called to tell me the results of the biopsy, either. I had to call THREE TIMES and they said I needed to come in for a Dr visit to get the results. No way. I just ordered a copy of my records instead. Never going back!

My main problem with this office is that they are extremely overbooked, the staff isn't friendly, they take a long time to do anything, and they accept too many free medical patients that it affects the way they treat all patients. I felt rushed when I did finally get time with doctor, and for most appts saw a nurse practioner, not doctor. A typical visit took about 2 1/2 hrs minimum. First you sign in,, wait, they call you back to take vitals, then send you back to waiting room, to wait, then once you finally get visit over with you have to wait again in the waiting room to make next appt which took 15-25 mins before they call you up. I've never experienced this, and stresssful when having first baby. The office was so packed that I saw pregnant women sitting on floor. This is unfortunate because I thought the doctors and nurse were fine, but would not reccommend this office. The envirnoment isn't pleaseant to be wating around for so long.
