I went for my consultation with Dr. Parker expecting him to tell me he could not replace my hip because of my weight . He did not , to my surprise he said he could do it. He repeatedly told me he could do it but 7months later, one week before the operation he said he did not want to. I understand his decision . What I didn't find professional was the length of time he took to tell me. I ended up being put off work because I can not carry out my job due to the hip. So fast forward 5 months, I'm 50 pounds lighter and because he is retiring he still will not do my hip. My Doctor was under the impression Dr. parker was still in contact with me and that I was still on his list. A very uncaring , unprofessional man who did not care at all how he affected my life. He spoke little during our meetings and answered the few questions he asked himself before I could answer. I'll never forget him as he has affected my life and wellbeing monumentally. he has already forgotten me!

I just had my second partial knee replacement four months ago. After living in excrutiating pain for almost 10 years, I had given up all hope of ever living a pain free active life. Visits to other Doctors and Surgeons resulted in more pain meds or simply being told there was nothing they could do to help me. Dr Parker recommended PKRs in both knees and I am so grateful. It changed my life.

Total Knee Replacement went exactly as planned. First time I have been without knee pain for almost 20 years. Very happy with the result.

I found Dr. Parker and his staff to be extremely caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable. My surgery went well and I am now pain free. THANK YOU! I wish there were more Dr. Parkers in Peterborough.

I had a hip replacement on Dec. 9th 1998 by Dr. Parker and it is still like new today. He is an excellent Dr. and I wouldn't let anyone else work on me. I'm going back this fall for the other hip. I'm completely at ease with him and his expertise.Ken Hall

I had a steel plate replaced in my left arm, not only did he do a speedy job (Out the same night) but it was far less painless when I had the original plate put in. All pain from the refracture and the surgery, was gone within 2 weeks, as well as he did follow up appointments in a timely manner, to evaluate my recovery. My Grandpa had his left hip replacement done by Dr. Parker, not only did he do a wonderful job on his surgery, but he offered many follow up visits at his personal practice, to evaluate my grand dad's recovery. I saw a comment on here comparing Dr. Parker to a Dr. in Toronto.... What does the opinion of a specialist in Toronto, have to do with Dr. Parker?? Are specialists in Toronto more privileged or something?? LoLz
