I have been going to Dr. Winkler since 1998. The folks complaining about long wait times would look at that from a different perspective if THEY were the reason for the wait. This doctor doesn't make you come back for another appointment when the originally allotted time is up...if you need help right away that's exactly what you'll get. Moreover he is up on conditions and open to treating the person, not just their lab results. Also open-minded and unlike too many doctors spends the time necessary to ensure his patients understand their conditions and allows them to participate, to the extent prudent. In terms decisions about treatment. He also has had the same staff for many years and all of them know and perform their respective roles with a degree of efficiency and empathy rarely seen. In it's been years since he's Breen accepting new patients. That's another indicator of competence: his patients are satisfied and stick with him. Also very good at arranging appointments with specialists when needed and he's in the know of who's good and who's not so great on those referrals. I will continue to trust him with my life until he retires. Oh, and did I mention that he actually LISTENS to his patients.

Dr Winkler is an excellent doctor. Yes they are slow in seeing paitents but that is because he sees A LOT of paitents & wants to know what is going on with them. I've been to slower doctor appointments that is just the industry. This doctor really cares for you & answers all your questions. I highly reccommend this doctor.

Please do not visit this doctor!!!! He leaves you waiting for hours to see his patients my mother had a surgery on her broken femur bone and when she had scheduled her appointment we had let the receptionist know that she could not sit for long period of time because of her femur and her pain sitting well they let her wait for and hour and a half and they still didn't get to us we just walked out.
