I recently had umbilical hernia repair by Dr.Marcus. He explained the procedure to me in full detail.He made very small incisions and I had virtually no pain afterwards. He takes a lot of time at post op visit. I feel that he is not only a very skilled surgeon but also very caring and a true humanitarian. He returns phone calls very promptly. Kudos for Dr. Marcus

When completing new patient paperwork, noticed that he is not on my medical network. In fact the paperwork stated that he is not on most networks. I took the paperwork up to the front desk and told them I did not want to see a doctor not on my network. She assured me that she had already processed my $40 deductible and that I would not have to pay anything else for that particular visit. If I decided, after speaking with him, that I wanted him to do the surgery, it would then cost me out-of-network fees. It was kind of surprising to me to then get a bill in the mail a month later for a $350 consultation fee. I feel I was deliberatly lied to regarding the cost of the visit. I would caution anyone going to this office.

Excellent experience . Referred to Dr Marcus for laparoscopic hernia surgery. Spent a lot of time explaining option and differences between traditional and laparoscopic surgery. Was able to talk with patients who had the procedure before making decision. Great result . Highly recommend!
