Dr. Qureshi runs his office like a public health clinic. Support staff wear scrubs; they weigh you upon arrival; consultation rooms are uninviting. On my first two visits, I waited nearly an hour to see the NP, who then spent a mere 15 minutes with me. But here's the worst part... I was headed out of town for the weekend and needed a prescription refill, so I called and left a message. No reply. I called again. No reply. I had to leave town without it. When I finally got in touch with the staff on Monday, they called in the WRONG prescription. The office provides no after-hours contact info, so I spent two hours tracking down Dr. Qureshi before he finally called in the correct prescription. When I met with him the next day, Dr. Q blamed the situation on ME, saying I should have read the "pamphlet" they gave me, which states that refills can take two days to process. He expressed no empathy for the uncomfortable weekend I'd spent sans meds. I've never felt so disrespected by a doctor.

I find it hard to reach dr q when my mental health starts to deteriorate. I leave messages because the phone service states that your call will be returned within 48 hours. This rarely happens for me. I only call when I am experiencing extreme distress. I want to prevent my hospitalization, but I often have to wait to see the doctor. 2 weeks feels like an eternity when you are suffering. I like dr q very much as a person and he seems quite knowledgable, but there has to be some step between increasing symptoms and hospitalization..

I had appt. with him in May for a simple report this is the end of August and still nothing yet. I call 2-3 times a week and either get voicemail with no return call or gets Tawnya and she really doesnt understand what I am needing. I am really exhausted with him and i can not go on to my next step to see a surgeon without this report.

He saved my life. He was always there when I needed him (even when on vacation).

Doctor is nice during appointments, but office staff is brutal and is extremely strickt about billing. For example you cannot see the doctor if you haven't already paid your copay in advance and they don't take credit card. Sometimes I have to wait a long time for appointment (1+ hour) and other times I wait only maybe 10 minutes. It seems to depend on time of day. Overall I might recommend another doctor. Not because of him as a doctor but because of all the other stuff around the office (unhelpful staff, mean about biling etc)
