I was a patient of Dr Gaik’s 11 years ago. I’m finding out now, at the age of 30, that she did not fix my bite (even though she claimed she did). I’m now having jaw problems that cannot be fixed by Invisalign and I have to go back for braces. She kept my braces on for five years, dragged me into three surgeries and was always rude. Do not go to this Dr!!!!

Dr Gaik is rude, so are some of her staff. Not all of them. One of the front receptionists is always rude, even over the phone. The male orthodontist is extremely aggressive when adjusting your wires. Has got my lip stuck in the wire the last 4 times I have seen him. Doesn't even say anything about it.

Tried to discuss a jaw-locking problem I was having with Dr Gaik and she was dismissive, told me it's normal when it is something that causes me pain and a lot of difficulty but she doesn't care.

I don’t know why some of the ratings here are negative.
My daughter had her braces done by Dr. Gaik. She was friendly, helpful and nice. All her staff was also the same and they were never rude. You were never forced to pay in full if you cannot afford it and they were very flexible to work with you on payment plans. We also brought our son here for braces after his big sister’s positive experience. When an emergency comes up, they are always happy to help. I also recommended Dr.Gaik to my sister in law and my nephew also got his braces there. Our overall experience with Dr. Gaik’s clinic was impeccable and very pleasant. Also she was the most affordable orthodontist compared to other ones we went to and heard about.

I now have beautiful straight teeth, my bite is corrected, and I’m constantly getting compliments! Now that masks are lifted, I catch people focusing on my teeth when I smile or talk. Dr Gaik is a caring skilled orthodontist who pays attention to detail. Her staff are professional punctual and accommodating. If you want an amazing smile too then you should go there. I feel like I won the lottery with this office!

I previously commented before after I was 1 year into braces with Dr.Gaik, saying I was shocked at the reviews and that she was great. I did mention how my concern at that point was how my teeth would turn out. I was quoted 2 years, I had braces for 3+ years and I must say my teeth look horrible. The bottoms are NOT straight, and my top teeth are straight except the front two teeth (WHICH WERE THE PROBLEM TO BEGIN WITH, THE REST OF MY TOP TEETH WERE ALREADY STRAIGHT). I’m actually upset about the outcome of my teeth and I am most likely going to have to go through braces again. Please don’t waste your money here. My brother needs braces and while I have recommended so many people here I am NOT going to take my brother here. MY TEETH LOOK BAD! DONT GO HERE

INCOMPETENT!!!!! DONT BOTHER GOING HERE, STAY ARE DISRESPECTFUL/RUDE, UNEDUCATED AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! I called yesterday to make an appointment; I had a simple problem, the cement on the back of ONE of my teeth (in the bottom front) came off. When i called to book an appointment, i had to re explain the issue to 3 different staff members before having to re explain for the 4th time to natalie, because the previous 3 staff members didn't know what to do?!?!?! I would've rather been on hold waiting for the one person who could give me a straight answer, rather than unprofessionally being passed on like hot potato, to multiple staff explaining the same SIMPLE ISSUE over and over; only to have to re explain it for a FOURTH TIME, thus finally getting to book an appointment. Then they want to be rude and show attitude because i made them aware that i am frustrated with the unprofessionalism. Than have the audacity to say this experience wasn't unprofessional. The last staff member i spoke to told me "they all have the same answer", than why did i just have to talk to 4 staff members about a simple fix. NOW TODAY I GOT A CALL SAYING THAT THEY ARE CANCELLING MY APPOINTMENT because they cant reattach the cement at this time due to covid, understandable, except for the fact that yesterday, NATALIE GAIK HER SELF gave me a second option to get a non permanent retainer at an extra cost of 200$. So apparently now i don't have a second option?? INCOMPETENT!!!!! THIS IS A SIMPLE FIX AND THEY ACT LIKE THIS IS BRAIN SURGERY!!!! Send your staff back to school. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Make sure you read the negative reviews here because the positive ones mostly look like they are at the beginning of treatment before “Dr.” Gaik gets ahold of your money, or from her own staff to try to increase her ratings. Gaik was great at the beginning, promising the hideous metal braces would correct teeth within 18 months. That was the only reason I agreed to them instead of the cute ones you can get the colour changed. As soon as my parents paid all in cash up front, her ugly side turned up. 24 months came and went and she decided she never said it would be 18 months. I now have a crack in my front tooth and the next promise of only needing nighttime retainers for 5 years ha resulted in me needing to spend another $6,500 17 years later to fix her mess. She acts like an entitled 13 year old, completely unprofessional and should not be allowed to practice.
