He is a Great doctor. Very helpful and helps you to understand evrything very well. Polite and wonderful manners. He helped methrough some very tough moments in my life. He was mt doctor for 20 years before he retired. I wouldn't have traded him for another doctor, ever:)

He was so rude it was unbelievable. I called to make and appointment and was told, I can't help you and you need to deal with it on your own and HUNG UP on me without even said goodbye, kiss my butt, notta!! Couldn't believe his UNprofessionalism!!!

I was a patient of Dr Schwartz for several months, and he helped me out very much. His manner is direct (just what I needed!- I'm male), and he quickly points out behaviors which he sees as not helpful. He knows his stuff- make sure you open up to this guy. He gave me direction on how to improve myself & my relationship- nearly all of it made sense, and I was comfortable with; the last little bit I could have completed, had I been a stronger individual. The office is small & a bit dated. Office help is great. I didn't use the 24-hour number, but left a message one time & got a call-back the next morning. I recommend him.

I was a patient of Dr. Schwartz. Yes he can "get his panties in a wad", but it is really your loss. He is probably one of more accessible psychiatrist in the area. He DOES call back. You could page him, left a message on the office phone, and when I saw him, had an off hours phone number. Anyway, this doctor really went to bat for me when the others where willing to write me off as hopeless, and got me well. No he isn't Oprah, but do you just want a psychiatrist to hold your hand, poor baby you, and take your money? He challenged me, and I got better. And the reason he was hot, he would have had someone on the waiting list come in on your canceled appointment. Have fun trying to find another psychiatrist that will not dope you up, will to take suggestions, treat you like you have a brain. There aren't many around.

Dr. Schwartz is rude and unprofessional. I scheduled my first appointment with him and was unable to make it due to an emergency. I was also unable to call to reschedule. He called me the next morning and I told him I meant to call and cancel but was unable to. He said "you stood me up, I could have gotten someone else in" and hung up on me. I will not be rescheduling with someone so unprofessional and rude.
