Thinks he's a real comedian. After pouring my heart and soul out to him about doctors/family not believing my 'invisible' illness, he said, "maybe you should think about putting "See, I TOLD you I was sick" on my tombstone. Yeah, real funny, ha ha. Then tried to get me to go to his little 'store' in office to buy a $35 bottle of iodine. Thinks he's quite the man, NOT. Only for those who have money and want maintenance health, not for truly ill people. ARROGANT, in business for profit, period

I've seen many doctors in my life and Dr. Kaufman is the first to really LISTEN to my concerns. He even asked if I had other questions or concerns. He takes the time and he sincerely cares about people. He is very knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest treatments--alternative and otherwise. I expect to have to wait a few minutes and when I am given all the time I need, I don't mind having had to have waited.

This doctor has so many patients that he has very little time or energy to spend with you. He does not listen to you and looks at the computer screen while he is talking to you, instead of paying attention to your health concerns. Will not go back.

I have been seeing doctor Kaufman for ten years as my primary care physician. I sought him out because he was interested in, and knowledgable in, alternative treatments. His support staff (nurse practitioners, front office staff) are all very professional and kind. I lived in NYC for 10 years before moving here - and Dr. K. is the best primary care dr. I've had in my life. Dr. K. also treatment for injuries resulting from a car accident. He waived payment until settlement; not many would do that in this economy. A remarkable man and a true healer.

Seems to be knowledgeable to all aspects of treatment, not just traditional- and open to discuss any sort of research you have done on your own. Nursing staff is decent. That's where the positive review ends. He is not very accessible when things go awry, and is not a "primary care manager" by any stretch of the imagination. He had all my charts and still was clueless about my case in particular, asking redundant questions as if he had never seen me. He always quadruple books his patients and you'd better book the entire afternoon if you need to see him, because that's how long you will have to wait. Hours of waiting for a 5 minute appointment slot. Insults your insurance and whines about politics and reimbursement in appointments. His front office staff is rude, not professional in behavior in person or on the phone, or in appearance. You'd at least expect him to hire a professional staff, but apparently he lacks judgment in that department as well.

We are very impressed with the Dr. He seems caring and always takes plenty of time with all of us. He even follows through! Sending follow up blood work with out my having to ask or keep up on it! Thats a first for me in 30 years! Kudos to Dr K. The office offers a lot of options for care to chose from. If only our Insurance would cover alternative and preventative care!

Our whole family has switched to Dr K. He is great with my kids and treats us all with respect. He talks to my kids not over them and also respects my preferences regarding vaccines and antibiotics which i have researched in depth. If you are a smart and informed patient you will do well with him as he works in collaboration with patients rather than assuming he always knows best.

Took my 5 year old in, trying to find new dr. Son said "i dont like shots" Dr said. "Me either, so we will try to talk your mom out of making you get them." Very unimpressed. Did not take time to consider my beliefs.
