Parent of a special-needs medically fragile child, we were referred to Dr. Nathan so made a lengthy drive to see him. For a pediatric dentist, besides books in the waiting room there was nothing that really revealed the office as catering towards children (TVs, toys, etc...). In spite of advising my daughter’s condition and complexity in advance when making the appointment, upon arriving close to 15 minutes was spent discussing with the doctor her diagnoses, specialists and medications. Once done discussing, rather flippantly Dr. Nathan asked, “so, is there anything good on her?” Upon returning home, called the office hoping to speak to him, however received their voicemail. After the weekend, called again and left another voicemail. The following day, a receptionist called me, indicating she was returning my urgent call (from five days prior). I indicated a desire to speak to the doctor regarding my child and his bedside manner. Two days later, and the doctor still has not contacted me. Wanted to give him an opportunity to speak directly and let him know I didn’t appreciate his sentiments, however apparently his time was better spent in other matters.

We were not happy with our experience and would not go back. Money is his primary concern.

Terrible experience. We had to start our sons orthodontic treatment from the beginning after working with Nathan for 3 years. Not recommended for orthodontics.

I take my 2 1/2 year old to Dr. Nathan and have nothing but positive things to say. The staff is excellent with kids and the office is child friendly,. Dr. Nathan was very patient with my daughter and explained things to her in a way she would understand. I couldn't be happier with my decision to take my daughter to this office.

I saw Dr. Nathan when I was a child and now take my children to him for their pediatric dentistry needs. Times have changed, some of the people have changed ... but Dr. Nathan, his work, his policies, and his expertise have not. He continues to be one of the most sought after experts in the pediatric dentistry field and everything my kids have needed done and the results from doing them have been spot on. We couldn't be happier with the service and support from Dr. Nathan and his staff! Contrary to some of the ratings below, I would recommend him to anyone for a straight forward, pediatric dental opinion.

Dr. Nathan is a very nice man but missed decay on my 15 year old son. my son needed a root canal and post because Dr. Nathan did not take regular x rays to find very large cavity in his back molar. Actually 4 years without x rays. I was very disappointed went to him for 10 years but never again.

After paying Dr Nathan $150 to tell us that everything was fine with my daughter's teeth at a checkup we discovered (after visiting another dentist 2 weeks later) that he missed significant decay in one molar and that multiple fillings he performed were too superficial and were causing staining on several other teeth. Very disappointing! Nice man, but not very perceptive dentist...

The staff is excellent. The office is very nice and has a very nice waiting area with interesting toys for the kids to play with. The staff is punctual and kind. Dr. Nathan is good with children from what I could tell during our first two visits with my 4 year old. However we have not had any work done (yet). He was only in for checkups. Dr. Nathan seems patient and understanding. I am satisfied with this practice.
