Staff nurse is extremely nasty! Very hateful attitude!!! Talk to me like I was complete crud! Was in total shock by her attitude!

I visited Dr. Murthy's Columbia, MD office. I liked her very much! The staff was friendly and helpful. I was a new patient and they offered to see me the same day. Dr. Murthy is a great listener, really cares and took her time with me during my visit. I came in with 4 different issues and she had no problem addressing each one.

This doctor is rarely there - She works very few hours. The office staff are very unhelpful and have a "don't care" attitude. They d0dn't bother to find out why you are calling, it doesn't matter to them if you care calling on an emergency, they will tell the doctor will be in next day and that they can leave a message for her. They do not page her for you. Even when with the greatest difficulty you get the office staff to pass a message to her and ask her to call you back, the doctor rarely calls you back. Every little issue, even stuff that she can tell you over the phone she asks you to make an appointment and go and see her - I wonder if she doesn't realize that we have to take time away from work to do this. She is not very happy when you discuss more than one issue at a visit. While she addresses the first issue discussed in a fair amount of detail, she brushes aside subsequent issues put forward and walks out of the room. I am now on the look out for a new doctor!
