Situation: Went in for a radius (forearm) fracture due to ski injury earlier that day. Complaints: 1) Almost passed out from pain in the hospital room while waiting for x-rays after the doctor saw my injuries & nobody noticed. Finally, a nurse came by and gave me some painkillers after 45 min. 2) Doctor missed the fracture in X-Ray but radiologist caught the fracture. 3) Doctor referred me to my gynecolgist for a cast for my fracture and told me the number was for an orthopedic office. Called back to get a referral the next day and all I got was the automated answering service that said all staff was busy. 4) Had a few very visible scraps along my right forearm (above elbow) and nobody help me clean/bandage them (cuts were shown to nurse & doctor. 5) Customer relations person called & would not admit the doctor missed the fracture and said there wasn't a fracturea at all. Avoid this Hospital/doctor. Goto Swedish or Jeweish National hospital instead if you're in Denver, CO
