Biography

Dr. Woo supports a general practice with an emphasis on Environmental Medicine, specializing in people with chemical sensitivities and toxicities. This may include exposure to chemicals which contain heavy metals, solvents and/or pesticides from their homes, occupational environments or travels. After graduating from Bastyr University in 1996 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters in Acupuncture Oriental Medicine, Dr. Woo trained and worked with one of the premier Environmental Medicine specialists in the country. He helped develop – and supervise – one of the most comprehensive detoxification programs in the U.S., treating many conditions in people both domestically and internationally. With offices located near the Microsoft campus in the Redmond/Bellevue area, Dr. Woo has worked with many employees with a range of issues. These include physical or muscle/joint ailments, digestive issues and sensitivities, adrenal fatigue and stress, insomnia, allergies, headaches and migraines, as well as diabetes and autoimmune, dietary, respiratory, cardiovascular and mood/emotional concerns. Dr. Woo has been in the medical-health field since 1986. He was an athletic trainer and educator for amateur and professional teams in British Columbia, Canada while obtaining his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology. He has been in private practice and has worked in both hospital and university settings. He enjoys the challenge of helping people re-establish control of their lives and to define their sense of well being. Each person is approached as an individual.
