So many years of bad experience. First was a broken nose when I was 11. He accused my parents of "letting me sneak out to party". At 11. Then bent my nose back and forth making it bleed, recommending cauterization instead of packing. I got packing. Another time my mom was dealing with kidney stones. He hooked her up to oxygen and gave her an aspirin while she was asking for a referral to have them blasted(he's head of cardio). Or there was a time when my son had an issue and he explained how "moms like to force the skin back and cause infection". I will literally will leave if he is the doctor. I would rather take chances with the veterinarian in town. Or drive to vermillion as I had done for years. You used to be able to call the hospital and ask who was on. They won't tell you any more. Also they discourage yelling and violence towards physicians not long after he joined. Soo.

Horrible bedside manners. He is always interrupting and doesn’t let you finish a sentence. He doesn’t listen to what you have to say. I won’t recommend him.

I cannot give any information about punctuality or his staff as I have only ever seen him in the ER. While he can be a bit haughty, he is very knowledgeable and keeps his knowledge current. For anything serious or complex, I would want him to be my doctor.

I have had Dr hay as a doctor since I was a kid he is amazing and he really trys to solve the problem and learn what the problem really is. I appreciate all the hard work he does.

Horrible dr! Threatens to send me to ponoka for the dumbest reason! Because he thought I was arguing with him! He has also pushed off any of my medical concerns whenever I went to emergency room. Used my weight, addiction and mental health as a reason for everything. And made me leave the emergency room. When I came back for a second opinion on my pain, the dr said it was possibly my spleen or my kidneys acting up!

Dr. Hay helped out my family even though he came in to a hard situation. He makes sure he follows best practice guidelines and is an amazing patient advocate. He is very knowledgeable and truly cares for his patients.
