I got sick while out of town and was luckily able to get an appointment with Dr. Adams. She was very thorough and took the time to examine me and listen to my concerns. Glad I was able to get and appointment with her, too bad she's not in my home town.

Dr. Adams was the primary care physician for our family. Her office was a half hour drive for us and once, due to a bad storm, we were 10 minutes late for the appointment we had scheduled for our infant. She refused to see our child even though we all consistently have waited at least 15 to 20 minutes beyond our appointment times to see her in the past. We were appalled at her refusal to treat our child as well as her staffs callous treatment of us. (Once she also referred me for a test at her affiliated hospital, which didn't even have the capability of performing that test. I wasted time off work and that's why she and her staff also get a "1" rating for being unknowledgeable.)

I saw this physician three times. We were getting along great and then one day, I come in for a visit. I had been having lower back pain off and on for awhile, so I thought I might have a kidney infection or something. So I am in the exam room. She comes in with a med student, which I am fine with. So I am explaining my symptoms and she starts talking to the med student and then she walks over to me and does this "test" to see if I was faking back pain to get narcotics. I was very offended I did not go in their expecting to get narcotics, I thought I had an infection. So that totally turned me off from wanting her involved in my medical care. I am sick of the physicans around here being paranoid about narcotics and that if you are young you must sell them or whatever. Treat the patient before trying to become a saint and save the world from Vicodin.
