He is the KINDEST doctor ever. He cares about every patient and remembers them. His staff is wonderful! Dr. Hicks is empathetic, smart, and goes above and beyond. He has taken care of ever person in my family. Would recommend him to anyone!! Great morals, doesn't treat you like a paycheck but as a person which is SO important.

He's a very good orthopedic surgeon. He's supposed to be one of the best trauma surgeons in the area, and he did a good job of fixing my broken tibia. He took the time to listen to me and answer questions and makes me feel like I've been respected. However, his nurses are just alright, and the group he's in (Fort Wayne Orthopedics) pawns you off on his PA, Mr. Laursen who is a real jerk (he disrespects you and wouldn't let me do physical therapy until three weeks after I got my cast off, though Dr. Hicks said to start a few days later. I had to make a few phone calls to get what I want). I rate Dr. Hicks extremely high, and if it weren't for being pawned off on his PA, I would give him a B+. I told Dr. Hicks I refuse to see PA Laursen ever again and I haven't had to.
