Dr. Owen is so wonderful. Coming from another OBGYN who I did NOT like and made me feel awful and uncomfortable every time I went-Dr Owen was a bright light. So pleasant, caring and attentive. Has made it much easier to go to the Gyno now!!

She was late to the appointment and my regular exam was uncomfortable. She made certain comments that made me uncomfortable. It was my first time visiting her.

Dr.Jane Owen was my obgyn and delivered my daughter six years ago at Montefiore. She’s the best doctor I’ve ever had. I am now going to travel to Mount Sinai from the Bronx in hopes she’ll still see me! Any concern she will calm and does such a thorough job! As a woman of color doctors haven’t made me feel comfortable or heard with my concerns gyn/obgyn! Dr.Owen I’d travel anywhere to see her,She is the BEST! The only doctor I can say I trust!

Today I had my first appointment with the doctor. It was horrible, she was very arrogant and made me feel uneasy. I'm expecting twins and she made me so scared and nervous she only bothered to hear one look for one heart beat with the Doppler. She kept on repeating how it was high risk and how difficult it is to carry out a twin pregnancy. I will not ever recommend this doctor to anyone, I understand that you have to assure your patient gets good medical care, but she was eve recommending that we be seen at another hospital it just seemed wrong she gave us a very bad first impression. Her as a woman should know that when you're pregnant you are sensitive and she had no compassion at all. Horrible doctor.

I always have morning appointments, she is never on time. always have to wait and wait aND wait, by the time she arrives, there are a bunch of patients all waiting for her. the nurses rush to get patients ready for Dr. Jane Owen. then the doctor herself rushes to get through appointments. she doesn't explain anything unless you ask, and even if you ask, she gives 1 or 2 sentence answers that asks rent sufficient. by the time I realized I should probably change doctors, it was too late in the pregnancy to switch with my insurance plan. miraculously, her appointments are always overbooked. I'm 37weeks, missed one appointment, and was told by her staff, they can't fit me into her schedule. terrible manners by staff...terrible everything. each appointment visit was a constant wait 45min, 1 hour, 2 hrs, then when Dr Owen finally arrives, the rest of the visit feels like going through a speed car wash. terrible way to operate.

Dr. Owen is incredibly knowledgeable and explain things to me in great detail. She has an amazing bedside manner and really takes the time to make sure that you're getting the best care.

I left her after my first prenatal appt. Dr. Owen has a very nonchalant, uncaring attitude. She was short with me, didn't appear to be very willing to offer support. She's also very rushed, as if she has more important things to do than see patients. I left unsatisfied and upset after seeing her and decided my stress levels should not increase over having to deal with her. My husband felt the same way. He was upset by her attitude as well. Being our first child, we know very little and are looking for support and caring. Dr. Owen provides none of the above and I would not recommend her to anyone for GYN or OB treatment.

I am using Dr. Owen for prenatal care because my regular gyn does not provide it. She is rushed and does not share any information with me unless I ask and, even then, her responses are short and not at all explanative. She maintains a very "don't worry about it" attitude towards my concerns and I have basically stopped bothering asking her anything and started doing my own research on any topic I want to know more info on. I had to call three times after visiting the e.r to track down a nurse who kept telling me she would call me back and was put on hold for a long time the third time I called. (The first time I was told that she was with a patient and the second time that she was out to lunch.) While I understand the profession might involve having to explain the same thing to different patients over and over again, I hope that if I have another baby, I will be able to find a doctor who has the patience and compassion to take the time out to talk and not just rush me out.
