Dr. Das put in a prosthesis that was too small in hip. Loosened after 2 years. Reviewed medical records and believe he did not measure bone cavity properly. Was going to have it redone by him but backed out. He screamed at me on the phone that I would die an excruciating death. Totally unprofessional, defensive, and immature. Went to another doctor for a revsion who did a decent job but the physical therapy was not right for this type of replacement, bone broke, healed, leg shorter now, walk with limp. Don't believe any of these yahoo's know what they are doing. Research research research, ask questions, don't submit to any unnecessary drugs, tests, procedures, treatments, etc. YOU are paying them. Educate yourself and demand proper treatment.

Dr. Das and his PA Kyle Baily are extremely caring to his patients as well as to his supporting staff (nurses). Their knowledge and concern is hard to come by these days. As a nurse who regarly cares for his surgical patients, I see what goes on behind the scenes. All concerns are respected and addressed appropriatly. I have never worked for a more respected doctor and hear everyday his patients singing his praises.

Unable to admit he had made an error. Very defensive. I had the hip operated on again somewhere else to correct his mistake. If he had acknowledged his error I would have had it fixed sooner and saved myself lots of pain and frustration.
