Such a kind, wonderful and patient Doctor. I was so lucky to have been in his care. Amazing outcome and would recommend him to everyone going through this traumatic surgery. It’s kind of rare to find a male Dr that doesn’t gaslight you somehow.

Terrible experience. Apparently he was deemed "a rockstar" among breast cancer surgeons.". He almost killed me. I had to get another surgery 8 hours after my mastectomy because they closed me up without thoroughly checking everything was OK. Didn't look at my ecg pesurgery results because "he couldn't find them". Then why did I go through the stress of that? So much more to say - it was one disaster after another. Glad he's retiring so he can't hurt anyone else.

Dr. McCready has been my Oncologist ( Breast Cancer) for 17 years now. His rating for me is always a 10. He has my full trust in him.

Dr. McCready is a very knowledgeable, and great for follow ups. The best place ever to get treated, being diagnosed by cancer during Covid it’s already a challenge and I had my share of going to different hospitals and was treated like in a 3rd world country. Princess Margaret was my 5star hotel I was always treated like a queen no matter the circumstances.

He did my lumpectomy 2 years ago. When my cancer returned recently he refused to see me because his secretary said he was retiring. He never really followed me after the surgery anyway, I think he missed a spot. My new breast surgeon removed my breast. Maybe if he did follow me I would not have lost my breast.

Being diagnosed with cancer is always BAD NEWS! But being referred to Dr. David McCready at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is GOOD NEWS!
Not only is Dr.McCready very experienced in his field, but he is also a super nice person with a gentle manner and an encouraging smile. Dr.McCready is very thorough in his investigation before reaching a diagnosis. He leaves no stone (tumor) unturned. He and his team always took the time and effort to explain the nature of my illness and the suggested treatment. When leaving his office, one always feels confident, assured as being in good hands. His staff was always responsive, courteous and accommodating with my questions, returning phone calls within a few hours.
I recently underwent surgery by Dr.McCready, and had minimal discomfort post-op, hardly needing any medication for pain. It was my most reassuring experience ever with a health care professional.
