Women and people with female sex organs- AVOID THIS DR. Do not risk. This urologist caused me severe trauma at a young age. While getting a cystoscopy from him he proceeded to do a urethra dilation without my consent. I went home with severe bleeding and pain. After this procedure that I didn't even understand that I was getting (no informed consent AND I was a minor) and still 5 painful years later and I'm dealing with debilitating chronic pain and scar tissue in the area. If you are a woman, AVOID this doctor at all costs. To this day I believe he is the reason for my chronic pain and after sharing my story with various practitioners- they agree it was the start of a viscous pain cycle post trauma. After his procedure I cried in the dressing room clutching my bloody panties while an RN that was present comforted me and told me to not go back to him ever again.
He should not be allowed to practice and his practice is severely out dated.
I repeat. If you are a female dealing with UTI symptoms or anything of that sort AVOID DR YONG. if you don't have a penis he will only make your problems worse- he does not give a sh** about female issues.

About 8 or 9 years ago he performed a circumcision on me and everything seemed fine for a while until I started looking at it almost a year later and it looks botched. I honestly don't know if it's his mistake or just my body but the skin of the shaft seems looser than it should be, it hides the head a bit which isn't allowing it to get desensitized like the rest of it. I don't know what to do...

Dr. Yong is not only easy to talk to but willing to listen and give you his knowledge of the problem at hand. I have been going to him for my yearly checkup now for over 10 years - I hope he never retires - would be hard to find another like him!

Have been having ongoing issues with urinary tract for 2 years. He simply reviewed tests that my GP had ordered, and said everything looked fine. He seemed very rushed, and was not open to questions. I was out of the office in a matter of minutes. After enduring pain/discomfort for 2 years and waiting for an appointment with a specialist, this experience was extremely disappointing. No diagnosis, no discussion. I was told to come back if the issues persisted for another year....
