I think sometimes Dr Kroll lass get very tired .Can you imagine the day starts out with other people's pain and want to be able to try and fix everyone's pain. And I am sure there is alot of politics involved that we have no idea about so please be kind. My experience with the pain clinic has always been positive

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Krol regarding my aunt's care. Over the past year or so. there have been multiple instances where her appointments were cancelled, which made it difficult for us. When we inquired about the frequent cancellations, the response we received from her felt unnecessarily harsh. Additionally, it was mentioned by a nurse that this issue has been a concern for other patients as well, suggesting that she may not manage as many patient appointments as other doctors This situation has been frustrating for us, especially during such challenging times. She needs to be replaced with someone who can actually see patients and we need someone who has bedside manner.

I just love dr Kroll-lass, she has helped me where no other doctor has in the last twenty years. She knows her stuff and is very compassionate. I like to call her a no nonsense Doctor, just right to the point. My pain is so manageable now and I am forever grateful. I travell many miles every month to see her and its well worth the drive

Seeing Dr. Krol-Lass has proven to be a frustrating experience, particularly in light of my ongoing struggle with chronic pain for over a year and a half. To begin with, scheduling an appointment was challenging. On more than one occasion, appointments were cancelled at the last minute, forcing me to reschedule and prolonging the discomfort I was already enduring. To make matters worse, attempts to reach out to her office for rescheduling or for urgent queries were met with unresponsiveness, adding to my distress.

When I did finally manage to see Dr. Krol-Lass, the experience was far from satisfactory. Not only did she appear rushed, but she also displayed a lack of empathy and understanding towards my situation. Her demeanor was dismissive and borderline rude, which felt incredibly disheartening given the vulnerability one tends to feel when dealing with chronic pain.

In contrast, my experience with her colleague, Dr. Dan, was significantly better. He showed genuine concern for my well-being, taking the time to listen to my history and symptoms. His approach was compassionate and proactive, providing me with a care plan tailored to my specific needs. He also made himself accessible for any follow-up questions, which made me feel supported throughout the treatment process.

I found her approach to be impersonal and detached. It felt as though you were more focused on rushing through appointment rather than taking the time to truly understand my condition and concerns. I felt dismissed and unheard, which is particularly disheartening when dealing with chronic pain.

It seemed as though she has a one-size-fits-all approach, without considering the individual nuances of my condition. I was hoping for a more comprehensive and tailored approach that would address the complexities of my pain management needs.
If waitlists weren't so long I'd recommend going to Moncton or Halifax for treatment.

It took her a long time to see me and I found her to condescending and rude. She lacks empathy and bedside manners. Unfortunately, I can't switch providers as she's the only one in Cumberland offering pain services.

This doctor has given me my mobility and life back. I had a back injury that basically forced me into retirement as a firefighter. I had been laid up with multiple disc ruptures and excruciating pain. After my first visit with her in June 2021 I felt better and like someone in the health system cared. I had a surgical procedure that she completed on an outpatient basis that gave me back my mobility and for the first time in years I was pain free. 6 months later and I am still good able to exercise and have a active life again. One of the best doctors in Nova Scotia. So grateful for her and what she does.
