I went to see Dr. Milanes when I got pregnant at 18. This was the first time that I had ever been pregnanant. She perscribed me prenantals and I went in for regular checkups. Around 4 months I started to bleed, she put me in St. Therese hospital for a week to "save my baby". After a week of total bed rest, she sent me home. Before leaving the hospital my mom asked her why she never listened for a heart beat as I was over 16wks.She came in to examine me in a walker and told my mom my baby is fine. I went home and within 24 hrs I started hemmoraging and went to condell. I had a very bad miscarriage and come to find out the baby died at 4 weeks and I had been carrying it dead and the doctor did nothing! I never heard from her again nor did she ever send me a bill! Do NOT GO TO HER UNLESS YOU WANT TO A MISDIAGNOSIS!

I am a patient of Dr Milanes and I do not agree with some of these negative comments posted. First, Dr would NEVER recommend an abortion to anyone. I had a friend who also saw Dr Milanes and almost lost her baby and Dr Milanes did all she could and saved her baby. The office staff there is very nice and helpful. The reason Dr Milanes can't leave the room when the patient undresses is because she is disabled and she can't get up every 10-15 minutes. I would recommend Dr milanes to anyone!

I saw Dr. Milanes almost 3 years ago, and it was the worst choice I made. She was recommended by my insurance company as I was already pregnant, and my other dr, was no longer practicing. Everything was just werid, I hated undress with her in there not being able to even feel me with out having to stand or measure my uterus. The worst part was when she did an ultrasound and I could tell something was wrong, she called a few people in the room, and they wouldn't tell me anything. Next thing you know I have to go to Victory hosipital to get a nother ultrasound, and then she made me wait over the weekend for the results. Her RECOMMENDATION WAS TO GET AN ABORTION! She said my Son had a tumor for a stomach. Then when I refused the abortion she dropped me as a patient! I switched to a high risk OB, and it turns out my son had an issue with his bladder, that fixed itself in utero it was just a slower development, he is now almost 4 and as healthy as any other child! DON"T SEE HER!

had the same experience regarding no gown. it was a bit unsettling. I was told to just take off my pants and jump on the table. I also waited 45 minutes or more for my appointment. She is in a wheelchair so I then had to jump off the table and stand next to her and she reached up to do my breast exam. She's really personable and nice, but I don't think I'll be going back.

Dr. Milanes is completley unprofessional. First off, I was not given a gown, nor was I given the privacy of her leaving the room for the exam. I HAVE never encountered that before. She misdiagnosed me with a large problem and ran up thousands in insurance bills --- it was a complete nightmare. AND, I don't think anyone has ever heard of HIPA!

Though the office staff is very helpful and friendly, Dr. Dulce Milanes is unorganized, unprofessional, and forgetful. Every time I went for a check-up she never remembered who I was (and I was going there every week for about 4 weeks at one point), she asked me the same questions over and over again (i.e. are you on birth control, are you sexually active, things your gyno should know about you, and etc.), she told me the same things over and over again as if diagnosing me for the first time, and it was very frustrating. She doesn't look over her patient records before seeing them. I feel as though she is unprofessional and I would not recommend her to anyone.
