Dr Naoum has great bedside manners and is very diligent at explaining what's needed and what has been done before and after surgery.

Was incompetent. Told me to n front of a witness; my daughter, that I was a slow and did not understand what was wrong with me. I had been an RN for 25 years! He did not know how to do the surgery I needed and said he couldn’t find another other surgeon who he could partner with. Rude and couldn’t care less. Should not be practicing medicine. A real nasty human!!!!!!!!!

I was admitted October 2021 in the ER at Cornwall for my Gallbladder ...Dr Naoum performed the surgery. I was very impressed with his follow up as he personally called me after I went home. The surgery went well and I have had no complications. Highly recommend this doctor

I used to think he was a wonderful and caring doctor but he has changed a lot. He is now dismissive and rude. He bad mouthed the Ottawa hospital, and when I told him about my drug allergies he said that was risk I would have to take. Would not let this man near me, I will take my risk of dying first.

Dr.Serge Naoum is very knowledgeable and supportive. He takes the time to explain the situation and available options. I highly recommend Dr. Naom, he is the one of the best professionals I have ever met in my life.

Amazing results under dire circumstances! Dr. Naoum was called on his day off to put a fire that was not stoked by him. He faced a grave stage of a condition only few doctors have seen in North America and with rather little time to react to it. Brilliant performance by him and the entire surgical team under pressure. Excellent result of the surgery, the wound that could have led to a sepsis is now healing with not even a scar projected.
To all of us fast to complain - think about it! Sometimes Dr. Naoum is the last man standing between the patient and the Lady with the Scythe or whatever you imagine as final curtain. He is expected to remove one's tonsils in the morning, do a colonoscopy after, remove a gallbladder in the early afternoon and to be back for an emergency on the day he could have some respite. He is expected to combine the knowledge of the otolaryngologist, the rectal and abdominal surgeon and be a dermatologist and an infections disease specialist in his "free time". Avicenna and Hippocrates are nervously huddling in the corner at such demand! And yet, he does it! He has my heartfelt thanks for the job done.

Never called me back after I was put on a list to get my tonsils removed over two years ago. I’ve been referred there 4 times since, in constant pain and can’t get ahold of anyone. Sad.

Curt and professional...no warmth at all. He performed a colonoscopy for me, which went well, but subsequent visits were unsatisfactory. The problem I orginally saw him for was still troubling me, and when I called, he referred me back to my GP. When she got me another appointment, he insisted there was nothing wrong, but said he'd arrange another colonoscopy. I've waited six months and never heard back. Dr. Naoum does not specialize in gastroenterology, but is filling in for the only one in Cornwall, who has retired. I am very disappointed in him. He may be a terrific surgeon, but he doesn't seem to be able to think outside the box.
