I was diagnosed with CMC Arthritis in both thumbs in 2018. The first two orthopedic hand surgeons who examined me weren't concerned about the impact thumb surgery could have on my right (dominant) hand and arm, which is affected by Lymphedema. After nearly two years of living with severe joint pain, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Matthew Zornitzer.

During my initial consultation, we discussed options that were available to alleviate my chronic pain and what a surgical procedure would entail. Dr. Zornitzer listened to, understood and addressed my concerns, thereby enabling me to make an informed decision about my treatment.

I underwent successful CMC surgery on my left and right thumbs in 2021 and 2022, respectively. The chronic joint pain associated with the disease is gone and the long-range prognosis is good. Two thumbs up to Dr. Zornitzer and his wonderful staff for their role in my treatment and care.

I have treated for dupuytren's contracture by Dr Zornitzer for a few years. He spends the time describing the various methods of treatment and providing his opinion for the best outcome. When the injections where no longer viable Dr Zornitzer performed the surgery - great outcome. Highly recommend Dr Zornitzer.

I recently had tennis elbow which did not respond to cortisone injection, stoppage of playing tennis, and, physical therapy. On Dec. 1, 2020 I had surgery on elbow by Dr. Zornitzer and now 31/2 months later I am playing tennis again with no pain. I am very happy and can't say enough of the work Dr. Zornitzer performed.

Dr. Zornitzer took great care of my broken pinky finger and also the trigger finger that developed in my ring finger while I was healing. His staff is great and he also recommended a great hand therapist. I was very happy with everything.

Dr. Zornitzer is kind, patient and a very competent surgeon. I had sudden pain in my index finger and for over a month, I went from doctor to doctor who either advised me nothing was wrong or misdiagnosed. By the time I got to Dr. Zornitzer, I was frustrated and in pain. Also, I was a week out from starting a position in a brand new company. After an MRI showed nothing, he carefully examined my finger and decided I needed surgery, which he squeezed me in for in four days time. Afterward, it was discovered that I had a benign vascular tumor! Dr. Zornitzer was present at every post-op and assuaged all my fears. My range of motion in said finger completely returned as well. I highly recommend, Dr. Zornitzer.

I am extremely pleased with Dr Zornitzer. I had extreme pain in my left thumb and wrist. The pain was basically gone post surgery and PT went really well. I have the same problem in my right hand which I will schedule with him in 2020. He did not push me into surgery, he simply presented me with all the options. I highly recommend Dr Zornitzer to anyone suffering with any type of hand issues!

As luck would have it, I broke my right index finger and damaged my left thumb in two separate instances during the past few years. However, I was really fortunate to have Dr. Z successfully perform both surgeries well enough to be back on the basketball court. His professional demeanor, consultative approach, empathy and willingness to do what was in my best interest was highly commendable. Most importantly, his surgical expertise and skill were outstanding and I am grateful that he is my hand surgeon. Highly recommended.

Fantastic surgeon with outstanding expertise. I had painful carpal tunnel, which he managed to alleviate with a cortisone injection. In the event that I require surgery down the line, I will most certainly see Dr. Zornitzer.
