I saw Geoff for number of years in regard to social anxiety that I had. He was very helpful and I the tools he taught me were useful for the years to come absolving my social anxiety. He is a caring, compassionate person and just having his feedback teaches a person how to be more compassionate with oneself. I highly recommend him, he taught me invaluable life tools.

I found Geoff very good as an individual counsellor but not as a couples counsellor. He was able to help me get off meds for anxiety, learn techniques for relaxation, but despite months of counselling, could not help with our couples issues. Perhaps the issues were insurmontable. I highly recommend him as an individual counsellor but you might want to try someone else for couples counselling.

I too saw Geoff Carr for couples counseling. We saw Geoff to gain a deeper level of intimacy. His cookie cutter approach and lack being able to understand the whole individual destroyed our marriage and our family. One of our children has been the fall out of this. The only thing that saved us from destruction on all levels in our lives was Geoff's sabbatical. My husband and I are still picking up the pieces five years later. We finally found something that works Emotionally Focused Therapy which is based on the primal human emotions of attachment where true intimacy exists. Stay away from Geoff, he will arrogantly tell you how he good he is . does not transcend into his therapeutic approach. And in one session when I asked what was going on with our 9 year olds son behaviour, (without any testing or frequent visits) he grabbed a big thick manual and read out allowed a diagnoses. Very unprofessional. Stay away

I saw Geoff Carr for marriage counseling. It was a very bad experience. His incompetence contributed to the end of my marriage. A good friend of mine had a similar experience with him, but unfortunately I found out after the fact.

I saw Dr. Carr for a very severe phobia. He was wonderful. Brilliant, insightful, extremely experienced but most of all just one heck of a nice guy. Very kind and compassionate. I would recommend him to anyone.

I've only gone to Dr Carr a few times, but so far he really seems to know what he's talking about. Hes writing a book and gives it to you to use as a tool, it really helps. I am going to keep going to him, cause I really think he will help me on my journey.
