Dr. Middlebrook has been very helpful to my entire family. We have become very close over the years with how involved she has become in the care of my entire family, but specifically my brother. My brother passed away last year, and Songbird Medical dedicated a bench in his honour at the RBG. She went above and beyond for my family and I am eternally grateful.

For myself as someone who is also in medicine, she is extremely open-minded, listens carefully and you can feel she genuinely cares about you by the way she treats you. Yes, there is often a wait at her office, but good things require patience :)

Sheila is a wealth of knowledge. She is familiar with various types of medicine and is an open-minded doctor. She has helped us over the years with my whole family and is very patient, caring and kind. I highly recommend Sheila as a family doctor.

Dr Middlebrook has been our family physician for about 7 years now and she is simply AMAZING. She is the female version of “Patch Adams”, always has a warm smile, great with kids, a gentle hand, amazing bedside manners, and listens to her patients.

When you have an appointment with her you are her only focus regardless if she is running behind. This unfortunately translates to longer waiting times but you can always call ahead and see how far behind she is before heading over.

Our family has had some tough medical issues and she has walked us through with ease and reassurance and even took time out of her personal life to visit with hubby while he was in hospital in Toronto. She thinks “out of the box” and sometimes will find the true underlying issues and not just what is at the surface.

Dr. Middlebrook is a genuinely caring, friendly and thorough doctor. The wait time usually ends up being about an hour or more which can be irritating but she makes sure to address all problems when you are with her.
The downfall of her office is her secretary who seems reluctant to even find any time for anyone to make an appointment. She says the doctor is booked for the next few weeks yet doesn't seem to want to make an appointment at the earliest possible day. I understand it must be a stressful place to work but she tends to be rude and dismissive.

Dr. Middlebrook is a fantastic doctor. She really cares about her patients and is very knowledgeable about all types of medicine and explains all the reasoning on her opinions very well. Unfortunately her main receptionist is very unfriendly and not helpful. Also one of the nurses that works with her almost gave me one of the wrong needles (a booster was almost given instead of an immunization). Dr. Middlebrook makes me almost enjoy going to the doctor's office and she is very personable. She always gives her patients the time they deserve without making them feel rushed.

Dr. Middlebrook goes above and beyond, without exception. She is thorough, efficient, clear with her diagnosis and instruction, and always takes the time to ensure she has the complete picture. Yes, she is usually running behind, but if you call ahead and ask how far behind she's running, her wonderful staff will gladly tell you so you don't have to sit in the waiting room for an hour.

Dr. Middlebrook is fantastic- Her appointments are usually an hour or so behind BUT she takes the time with each patient and you can call the officer prior to going to see how behind she might be. The ladies at the front are fantastic too! So kind and always remember you! Dr. Middlebrook is honestly such a caring doctor. You can open up to her about anything, without any judgement. I had a dr before this who had a HUGE sign up that said "will only discuss 1 problem per appointment". Sometimes problems lead into other problems. It is nice to know that Dr. Middlebrook takes time to make everyone feel like her "only patient"
