She is milking the system for as much money as she can get. She will get you to make as many appointments as possible and only give you a fraction of the time she is paid for. As an example, I made an appointment for a routine refill. Several days later, the pharmacy hadn't received the prescription so they faxed her a renewal request. She responded by telling the pharmacy to make another appointment. She doesn't do pap tests during routine physicals. You need to make another appointment for that. She gets you to make several appointments for referrals and you will need to follow-up by making several more appointments to get her to actually follow through. It's endless. I am unsure if she is just incompetent or if she is milking the system but either way you will get a very poor standard of care.

She has been my family doctor for years. She is okay for small things but is a terrible communicator and requires considerable managing. I left a physical with several actionable issues and was told she would do the referrals. It required several weeks of follow-up to find out she had not and wanted me to book 3 separate appointments so that she could book each of my ultrasounds. When the results came back she hadn't even looked at them. I was told it was my responsibility to follow-up. The radiologists made suggestions in the report and my lung nodules had doubled in size in 6 months. I have serious fatigue and as a result struggle to get things done. She is well aware of this but despite my issues she requires me to micro manage her to get her job done. I just don't have the energy or expertise to do her job nor should I have to. Also, a heads up. During physicals she does not do pap smears. She only does them on Saturdays and it requires another separate appointment. It takes a lot of appointments, follow-up and time to get anything done.

I enjoy visiting and do not feel condescended to. I do find that she delegates many of her tasks to the people she is training. That makes sense as she is looking to have replacements in the future.

I'm a former patient of Dr. Baird and I can say that she is very thorough with her examination(s). I recently had my annual exam with my new GP and the only thing she did was check my blood pressure and used a stethoscope to check my heart. Dr Baird's medical exams are way more thorough, sure you may not like her bedside manner, but she is very efficient.

A rude and condescending "professional." Never on time, so if you are lucky to see her in person, give yourself plenty of time. Make sure you have only one issue at a time, and don't you ever dare see other doctor if you feel sick otherwise she will yell at you for not booking time with her (regardless of her extremely busy schedule and gatekeeper receptionist)

This doctor is extremely disrespectful to patient’s times. She doesn’t check patients files to see how the tests have compared to last time. You have to be a knowledgeable patient with her. Speaking of being knowledgeable, she’s awful! She tells you to go on Google and search for things that lower this and that.
