Dr. Saly diagnosed me as suffering from a rare form of Aphasia, which would lead to my becoming mute.
She did not mention the various forms of help in coping , available. There are over 100 text-to-speech apps for iPads and tablets, found by googling AAC on the internet. Her diagnosis was correct but, perhaps because it is so rare, but she made no mention of the current technology.

From the introduction to the end of our session, Dr. Saly put me at ease with her professional, easy manner. She took time to explain things by showing X-rays and diagrams, which greatly helped me understand. She answered my many questions and offered suggestions. I left the session feeling heard and with a path forward.

Dr Saly was caring at first, and then gave up on my daughter after being unsure how to treat her. She instructed my daughter to get a job, move out, and live, even though she suffers from grand mal and petit mal seizures , while my daughter was crying in her office. I will not give up on my daughter.

Dr. Saly can be great... until she gives up on you. I had her as a neurologist for over 10 years, and then after she couldn't "fix" me she gave up on me and even started under medicating me. She stopped returning my phone calls and she told me I basically just had to live in pain daily because there was nothing else that could be done. She's scared of the College's new rules and treats everyone like a drug addict now so getting adequate pain relief is not an option. After she gave up on me she just started repeating giving me the same medications that didn't work, over and over again. So yeah, great when you're following her agenda and she hasn't yet given up on you.
