I cannot believe that this doctor(Farooki) is still legally able to practice! Very surprised that he has not been sued or committed to a psychiatric ward as he is delusional ,oblivious to reality,egocentric and lacks empathy towards patients( that unfortunately been forced by the incompetent staff at the clinic TO SEE HIM!!!---)just because they do not have a family doctor.
He should have either retired 20 or more years ago or removed from his post . Yes there is quirkiness in many doctors but in Dr. Farooki's case it is
psychotic . He loves to talk to himself and about himself all the while ignoring the patient in front of him. He is loud, obtrusive, conceited as he readily rants and raves that he is such an excellent physician while demeaning /criticizing his colleagues at the Clinic. Hates the government(okay) and is not being paid enough,meanwhile he has the lowest number of appointments.............last choice.
As for those who rated him highly must be seeing another doctor................

I met Dr F in a clinic. I had severe leg pain and couldn't get in to see my regular GP. He never looked at my leg, but prescribed an x-ray and medication. As I was leaving his office, I asked how I would go about getting the x-ray results. This lead to a sudden outburst with profanity and I left in tears. I had the x-ray taken, filled the prescription, and when I got home, saw that he had prescribed 100 Ibuprofen (400 mg) and 30 Oxycontin!!! All this with not even a look at my leg! I returned the oxy, unused, to a pharmacy a month later for disposal. I was able to see my own doctor 5 days later and I was diagnosed with shingles. I wouldn't advise anyone to see this strange doctor.

This doctor is the worst. He does not allow you to speak about your concerns. Instead, he just rambles on about stupidities and he can be quite unpleasant. I would not trust his opinion and would go to someone else. A secretary at the Brunswick Clinic told me that he has "a quirky character". I have noticed that the entire Brunswick clinic is like this, the support staff defends whatever goes on there and trivializes your complaints.

What a strange doctor. He looked through my medical history and made weird comments about what he saw which just wasted my time so I lost out in asking him what I wanted to ask about. He prescribed pills for conditions I did not come to see him about. I went ahead and got the pills he told me to take but I felt worse and stopped taking them. He makes random comments about his doctor experience which left me confused as to why he is telling me about himself, I don't really care. His business card says he is a nephrologist, cardiologist and an internal medicine doctor. Will all due respect. Dr. Farooki, I think you should re-take some of your medical courses or read some current medical books because you you are one bizarre doctor. Maybe you help some people, but not me!

Did not help me at all. He likes to brag about himself. He was abusive towards me and trivialized my ailments. He prescribed a supplement that does not exist. He tried to get rid of me and said to go see a family doctor. He complains about his doctor colleagues. He is very uncaring and unprofessional.

C'est pas un bon médecin il parle pas un mot de français, quand tu lui dire pour quel problème tu viens , il te répond il faut que tu vois ton médecin de famille... Si je suis aller le voir c'est peut-être parce que j'ai plus de médecin... Pour moi je ne le trouve pas terrible et je suis pris encore avec mon très gros problème...!!!!!

Excellent doctor - dedicated, compassionate and takes the time to talk over any problems or questions. will be sorely missed if or when he retires from practice.
