Dr. Woodham was amazing! He has a wonderful personality. He took his time with my husband and was able to diagnose his extreme back pain in a matter of minutes on top of that he did a simple surgery and fixed it the following day! Following surgery he called me himself to let me know all was well. He is professional, kind and the entire experience has been very good.

Doctor yelled at patient when asking questions and refused to answer.

Dr. Woodham accused a patient of lying. Upon waking his patient up at 4am along with the patient’s spouse, he spoke quickly and did not allow for anyone to ask questions. When the spouse interrupted the doctor to ask a question despite the immediate awakening, the spouse indicated they were out of the loop and wanted to know the specific diagnosis because it seemed nothing was being shared or relayed. The doctor cut the spouse off and started yelling and calling the patient and spouse liars and didn’t even address the questions at hand. When attempted to ask any additional questions, the doctor merely stated “we aren’t here to treat your pain” and left.

I have found Dr. Woodham to be refreshingly frank & direct. He also has a great sense of humor, which I appreciate. When you are in a lot of pain, it helps to be able to try and laugh. While I admit I have had to wait for long periods to see him once in the exam room; I have never felt rushed by him, He spends as much time as I need to answer my questions & give me my options. He did my lower back surgery in Jan. 2020 & once the pandemic is over, I intend to have him do the cervical surgery I REALLY need.! I think he is great. Unorthodox in his manner, maybe, but I prefer a Doctor with a personality rather than a bored drone!!

He is rude and arrogant. The worst Dr I've ever met. He doesn't care about the pt.

Choose another doctor is my advice. Find one who cares and will spend more than 5 minutes with you. He will leave the patient room telling you that he will be right back. He doesn't come back but sends his nurse to dismiss you. Just a horrible experience.

I noticed there are a lot of negative comments about Dr. Woodham’s arrogance. He’knows what he’s doing and he did a fabulous job on my neck surgery.. If you know how to read people, you will know how to treat your doctors, just as as you expect them to treat you well. He did seem a bit quick during my first visit. I put my surgery off for financial reasons.. When I did decide to have the neck surgery, I used common sense! When Dr. Woodham entered the room, I stood up, shook his hand and thanked him for taking time to see me just like you should anyone if you can stand up. It did not matter to me that I was paying him for the visit because he was going to be working on my neck!!! At that point, he gave me all of his attention and answered every question I had. Learn how to read people and you won’t have as many complaints.
Sincerely, A very happy patient

He did my back surgery and I am in worse pain than before. His answer was there was nothing more he could do and that was over the phone from his nurse. After my surgery he did not come back to see me in hospital and like the other reviews I will 100% agree he over talks the patient and will not let you get a word at all. I then go to call to get records to try for second opinion and find out he is no longer at the location and moved and would have to be seen as a new patient . There is so much I would like to say but it gets me no where and only upset. I would think he and his staff could of had the decency to call and let me know he was relocating. I would not recommend him and only wished I had known how I was going to be treated by him . Felt like a piece of trash he threw out after causing me ten times more pain than I was in. The most upsetting part is the lack of empathy he has for someone that he has permanently hurt physically and emotionally.

Dr woodham is extremely arrogant and not only took no time to answer our questions, but would talk over us when we tried to ask questions. He took an MRI of the WRONG area of the spine and then referred us to another Dr who then refused to treat us because he could see nothing wrong.
